DENVER Its a mile high mystery in the skies over Denver.
Strange objects caught on camera flying over the city and nobody can explain it.
We first learned about these sightings when a metro area man, who does not want to be identified brought us his home video. He captured the images on his digital camera from a hilltop in Federal Heights looking south toward downtown Denver.
He said, The flying objects appear around noon or 1:00 p.m. at least a couple of times a week. The strangest part is they are flying too fast to see with the naked eye, but when we slowed down the video, several UFOs appear.
We altered the color contrast to make it easier to see. You can take a look for yourself by watching the video clip.
We wanted to verify the video we saw was legitimate and not doctored in anyway. So our photojournalist set up his camera in the same spot, and shot video from just before noon until just after 1:00 p.m. He also captured something unexplained on video.
Aviation expert Steve Cowell is a former commercial pilot, instructor and FAA accident prevention counselor.
He thought he would have a logical explanation, until he watched the video. That is not an airplane, that is not a helicopter, those are not birds, I cant identify it, he said. He also told us the objects are not insects.

Disappointed Freepers evacuating the planet.
Need to check who goes silent after Nov 8.
Duplicated by the Fox camera?
Ms. Weaver = HOT!
I’ve always been a bit of a UFO skeptic, but I’m... well.. dont know wat to say about this one.
I can’t look at it now, but from the description, they are probably rods. There is a lot of interesting stuff on the web about them.
You need to take look, they are not rods.
Thanks I’ll take a look at it tonight.
THere is stuff going on in this universe traditional science can’t deal with.
Tricopters, quadcopters, hexcopters, and octocopters. No decicopters yet.
Bugs.
THE camera has a slow frame speed - did you know that Hollywood had to use a faster frame speed to film Bruce Lee? He was that fast. (Std frame rate is 24 frames/sec)
Just like the rods, slow frame speed + bugs = UFOs.
Would be fun to have some one with a high-speed camera grab some video...anyone with a 60i capable camera in the Denver area?
another claim whose only source is a video that does NOT offer clear and definitive proof, but leaves it as murky as without the video
when there is a video with very clear and indisputable evidence, everyone will pay attention
until then, these reports may or may not deserve a tin-foil-hat award, but they don’t deserve belief of anything other than they are not good evidence of alien (or secret human) UFOs
I think they might be practice drones. I went to the address given in the news story, 56th Avenue and Clay Street, on Google Maps Street View. There are two large open field-like areas nearby, which are surrounded by homes and businesses. Nothing mysterious. Looks like a good place for testing drones, flying kites, and playing with remote control airplanes. But there are some high tension towers to the north.
Right. They’re drones. I posted a link at post 11 that explains what they are but apparently no one bothered to look at it.
I read it; that’s why I swooped down to the map to take a look at the topography. I’m sure others did too; and you know, there are always those who “want to believe” a little too much. By the way, I love your FReeper name.
