George P. Bush of Fort Worth, the son of a former governor, and a grandson and nephew of former U.S. presidents, has filed paperwork with the Texas Ethics Commission, seemingly in preparation for a run for local or statewide office.
As first reported by The New Republic, Bush, 36, filed what is called an "appointment of a campaign treasurer by a candidate" form, which Texas Ethics Commission general Counsel Tim Sorrells said is required of someone who is a candidate.
The report, filed Wednesday, does not indicate which office Bush has his eye on. That might become more evident on Jan. 15, the next deadline for campaign finance reports.
He is a son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, grandson of former President George H. W. Bush and a nephew of former president and Texas governor George W. Bush.
Bush keeps residences in Fort Worth, where his wife works as an attorney, and in Austin where he is a partner in Pennybacker Capital.
He co-founded the Hispanic Republicans of Texas Political Action Committee. He is considered one of the GOP's rising Latino stars and told the Tribune in March that "politics is in his blood." He declined then to speculate about any immediate plans to seek office, although speculation has centered on a run for comptroller.
Bush said that on issues such as immigration, he was a George W. Bush Republican -- a moderate.

George Romney was born in Mexico of U.S. citizen parents. In Mexico, citizenship is jus sanguinas; you inherit it from your parents who must be Mexican citizens for their child to be a Mesxican citizen from birth. George Romney was considered a U.S.citizen from birth by the Mexican government.
The Romney’s returned permanently to the U.S. when George was 7-years old. His U.S. citizenship was derived from his parents. He was not a natural born citizen: born in the U.S. of U.S citizen parents, and so was ineligible to serve as President of the U.S.
Note: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul all provided the Republican Party with proof of their natural born citizensip. Richard Santorum did not BECAUSE his father was born in Italy and did not naturalize as a U.S. citizen until after his son’s birth. (The former Senator, when confronted with these facts, retorted “if it was good enough for Obama, it’s good enough for me!”)
According to the U.S.Constitution, a Congressman, either in the House or the Senate are eligible for those offices whether native born, citizenship derived from parents, or naturalized as U.S.citizen from foreign birth.
To be President of the U.S. a candidate must be a natural born Citizen: born in the U.S.A. of U.S. citizen parents.

Georgie’s father was a Mexican citizen. This cancelled out Georgie being a U.S. citizen.
Also do a little reading on American law.
By the way, there are over 90 families with the surname “Romney” in Mexico. According to you, they also must be American citizens.

Those born of two U.S. citizens, provided that the parents have ever legally resided in the USA, are citizens at birth no matter WHERE they are born according to U.S. law.
I recommend you do a little reading on U.S. law and recognize that it is not subservient to foreign law.

You are castrated, and you apparently want to castrate US law. Notice in the law written it says NOTHING about foreign law in regards to granting U.S. citizenship at birth to children of U.S. citizens who have legally resided in the USA.
According to your idiocy if a foreign nation granted everyone in the USA foreign citizenship at birth - nobody could be a US citizen at birth.

McCain lied. He was born in Colón City, Rep of Panama, in Colón Hospital. This makes him a dual citizen. Even had he not lied and had been born in the Canal Zone even though there was no hospital in existent in Coco Solo at that time to deliver him (until about 4 years later), he still would have been a dual citizen as I am.
I was born in Gorgas Hospital, Ancon, Canal Zone, and am considered a dual. Because of that, I have 2 passports.

I found you the US law you asked for oh ignorant lazy troll. So it was something not credible you read somewhere and assumed was true without evidence. How stupid of you.
That’s not an open and shut case. His father was a citizen, and he was born in the United States. Whether or not he should be President is another question, but he would likely survive a challenge to his “natural born” status.
