"We Won!" (Communist Party USA headline/story openly heralds Obama victory)
Peoples World (Official Paper of **Communist Party U.S.A.**) ^ | 7 November 2012 | Stewart Acuff, People's World Writer

Though many of the state margins were narrow President Obama ran the table winning every swing or battleground state with the possible exception of Florida where votes are still being counted as of 5:30 this morning.

President Obama also won the popular vote by 2 million votes. The President won 303 electoral votes to 206 for Romney. We knew about 11 pm that the President had won when Ohio was called for him.

Democrats also held the Senate. Elizabeth Warren won with a good margin in Massachusetts. Claire McKaskill won in Missouri beating Akin-he of the legitimate rape comment. Joe Donnelly also won in Indiana beating Republican Mourdock. Warren won by eight percentage points. Donnelly won in Indiana by 6 percentage points. Sherrod Brown won re-election. Tammy Baldwin won becoming the first openly gay Senator. Democrats picked up seats in the Senate.

Progressives like you worked their hearts out all over America for our people, our country, our president, and progressive Democrats. We fought and beat the tea party, the oligarchs and massive rich, Karl Rove's strategy, ALEC, the Koch Brothers, and all those who would tear down democracy and destroy the middle class and the labor movement. Women spoke strongly. Latinos spoke strongly. The LGBT community spoke strongly. And AFRICAN-AMERICANS fought back against the neo-poll taxes and disenfranchisement.

And as always our labor movement provided the President a foundation of support, energy, and strong presence.

The truth for progressives is that we are slowly winning the battle of ideas, future constituents, policies of justice. This election was won with progressive constituencies and a PROGRESSIVE AGENDA.

The President won with huge healthcare reform that we must continue working on and commitment to the middle class and acommitment to workers and unions and collective bargaining.

Republicans wake up this morning scratching their heads realizing they have lost 5 of 6 Presidential popular votes.

Now we must begin to think about how we build on this great victory to build a big struggle on America's biggest issues - inequality, investment in America and jobs (the agenda Dr. Richard Levins and I laid out in Getting America Back to Work), collective bargaining, honoring workers, respect for every person in America.

We in the labor movement must continue to protect and expand collective bargaining - and to lay the foundation for the opportunity to create a struggle and perhaps a movement that addresses the economic issues of the middle class and THE POOR. We have to think outside our membership and act like the voice of all working families embracing new forms of organizational structures that work when the all or nothing NLRB fails or is irrelevant. We must act with boldness. NOW IS THE TIME TO END 35 YEARS OF WAGE STAGNATION and TO PUSH HISTORY FORWARD.

Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh are all correct. This man is clearly taking us down the road to Euro-socialism, and if possible, doctrinaire Marxism-Leninism, incrementally through "progressivism" so as to not wake up Mr. and Mrs. America who have unfortunately bought into this latest installment of red diaper doper baby dog shit.

It’s ironic in a sad sort of way. The teachers, the reporters, and the social deviants were the first to go in front of the firing squad. People should have stayed awake in history class, it may have saved their lives. Of course the forced ignorance was all part of the plan from the get go.

Don’t Go Galt, Instead “Poll Vault” and go Beyond Galt by not collapsing the system by not contributing, instead become a “super taker” and give the collapse an extra push.

Sign up dead people for EBT and SNAP, sign up “undocumented multiple personalities” that live in your head for any government assitance that exists. Sign up a next door neigbor as “Spanish first Name” “Spanish Last Name” using a spanish language food stamp form. Sign up mikey mouse and donald duck too. To hell with Civil Disobedience, it is past that now, it is now time for Economic Disobedience, and Social Program Disobedience.

They want Communism, Maybe we should give them so much damned communism they choke on the damn stuff by collapsing the socialist systems they have “frog boiled” us into taking.

But is must be done soon, because once they take away certain parts of amendments 1-10, the reset will not be possible, just misery.

Republicans need to stop using red as their color (”red” states).

You quoted Savage’s “red diaper doper baby”, but failed to give him credit for being the first to proclaim Obumbo as a Marxist/Leninist, just as his father...which ever one it is.
More emphasis needs to be put on Obama’s Communist ideology.

Thanks a lot to all the a-holes who stayed home because Mitt Romney wasn't the perfect candidate.

Communist across the globe are in your debt.

This high praise and joy of the Communist Party at Obama’s election goes nicely with the Russian theme already established at the DNC convention when the Democrats payed homage to the Russian Black Sea Fleet in their backdrop photo montage.

“Republicans need to stop using red as their color (”red” states).”

I never understood how Republicans got stuck with RED, and Dimocraps, Blue. I do not think that the Republican party had anything to do with it.
It should be just the opposite.
Maybe some FReeper knows the story.

The media changed Republican’s from Blue to Red. I want to say, after Reagan.

Read Gandhi, too. We may be heading this way. I have long said we needed to tie up the DHS phone lines (ICE) once amnesty for anchor babies got through, so that NOBODY could get through to get their forms or apply or ascertain their status. Flood thing thing with bogus sign ups, stupid phone calls, and crash their phone lines. Peaceful disobedience to bring the American Socialist machine to its knees. (Maybe THEN a healthy majority of the electorate will wake up and come out of their hypnotized funk).

You indeed have a point and I should have also added him as well. He warned us too, five, six years ago, about this Obama character.

As I recall it happened when Clinton first ran for President; up until then the Republicans were always assigned blue. Since the media decided to flip us to blue en masse it was most likely intentionally done, probably as part of a PR company’s recommendation.

I like this strategy. This is basically the same tactic
taught in the liberal bible “Rules For Radicals” that
proposes overwhelming the system with massive increases in
entitlement programs. Back then, it proposed to do it through
welfare.

Well done GraceG.

I plan to hop on Obamacare as soon as it is available. If 50% of the people in this country want to give me some free chit, then okay, I will take it, -If only to hasten the collapse and return to a sane system. I might at least get a new knee or something.

Excerpt:

After the 2000 election, the color red became associated
with the GOP, although the party has not officially
adopted it. That election night, for the first time, all
of the major broadcast networks used the same color
scheme for the electoral map: states won by Republican
nominee George W. Bush were colored red, and states won
by Democratic nominee Al Gore were colored blue. Although
the assignment of colors to political parties is
unofficial and informal, they have come to be widely
recognized by the media to represent the respective
political parties.

We need a war. The PsyOps used in this article is shocking. And to think of the millions of people who can’t see the obvious. In the past I’ve said ‘we’re doomed’ somewhat in jest, but.. We ARE doomed and it PISSES ME OFF that the illegals are crossing our borders as I write this and DICTATING MY FUTURE FOR ME BY SUPPRESSING MY VOTE. Our President is behind this, too.. IT’S CRIMINAL!
