The avalanche of lay offs has begun as companies add up what labor will cost with the new health care mandates. As more lay offs take place, less consumer spending, slowing the economy just in time for the the government to implement new tax hikes.

Meanwhile, cutting government inefficiencies remains off the table.

Ron Paul is right that we need to radically reduce our military presence around the world. Far better to do it in an orderly fashion while we still have money to do it in an orderly fashion. The military presence of the U.S. overseas will soon be unsupportable.
