Actress Ashley Judd's name is being thrown out as a Democratic challenger to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) in 2014. Rep. John Yarmuth (D-Ky.) listed her as a possibility.

She is a movie actress who has never made any real block buster movies or even achieved super star status. She is most remembered for being the sister/daughter of the western singing team of Naomi and Wynonna Judd a very popular duo at one time until Mom, Naomi, re-married and ended the team. Her sister tried to carry on but never made it on her own. Ashly is much prettier than her sister, actually her mother was prettier than her sister.
