She is a movie actress who has never made any real block buster movies or even achieved super star status. She is most remembered for being the sister/daughter of the western singing team of Naomi and Wynonna Judd a very popular duo at one time until Mom, Naomi, re-married and ended the team. Her sister tried to carry on but never made it on her own. Ashly is much prettier than her sister, actually her mother was prettier than her sister.

Naomi and Ashley were both prettier than Wynonna, but Wynonna had one heck of a voice - power, range, and expression. I don’t know if hard living has ruined her voice now - haven’t heard anything from her lately - but once, she could really, really sing.
