Some Philadelphia neighborhoods outdid themselves in Tuesday's presidential election.
In a city where President Obama received more than 85 percent of the votes, in some places he received almost every one. In 13 Philadelphia wards, Obama received 99 percent of the vote or more.
Those wards, many with large African American populations, also swung heavily for Obama over John McCain in 2008. But the difficult economy seemed destined to dampen that enthusiasm four years later.
House Speaker Sam Smith, musing over "staggering" turnout in some city precincts and reacting to wrong information that "90 percent of the precincts in Philadelphia County turned out over 90 percent of voters," called the ability to get such numbers "questionable."
Smith's math does not add up. Voter turnout in Philadelphia was around 60 percent, according to state election figures.
Nor was Philadelphia the only place in the region with such high numbers for Obama. Five Delaware County towns topped 90 percent, led by Yeadon at 96.3. Following were Chester City (94.8), Darby Borough (93.5), Chester Township (92.3), and Colwyn (90.3).

how amazing ..were they all alive?

Voter ID was not enforced thanks to the courts, and Corbett didn’t act quick enough when they threw out poll monitors.
Quite frankly, he should have had law enforcement waiting on election day to deal with this.
Nothing to see here. If there was, Holder would be all over this.
That type of fraud alone would make him win PA.............OOOPS he did win PA
Does does not quite match Saddam Hussein’s 100% of the vote election victory.
When you don't work a difficult economy is a moot point
The media, however, is feverishly combing national records looking for some white precinct somewhere in the bowels of the nation that had similar percentage numbers for Romney so that they can declare blatant racism.
Compare the 13 wards with the wards that the GOP poll watchers were forcefully removed. Got money on them being the same.
It’s [ast time for proportional representation in PA...and if anyone in Harrisburg gets cold feet, primary them.
And NOBODY’S talking?
We need about a thousand more James O’Keefe investigators out there.
35 years of living in Delco has taught me two truths:
1. There is no one on planet Earth more racist than Philly black voters.
2. There is no fate too horrific to befall that city.
The City of Brotherly Fraud.
Surprised is wasn’t 109% turnout
Surprised is wasn’t 109% turnout
Surprised is wasn’t 109% turnout
90% turnout... I DON’T THINK SO...
I smell fish.....
Hussein was positive he was going to lose. That alone tells us it was rigged. We all remember how distraught Michelle, aka, patrick ewing looked at the convention. Also Hussein with tears in the eyes last rally. They KNEW they were going to lose. And then, presto, you can add the complete laughing smiling look of shock on his face when he walked onto the victory stage.
Republicans have no backbone to fight this stuff. And even if they did win, some dem judge would change the ruling a few days before the election. With all the anchor babies becoming of age, the welfare party will have the numbers going forward, and win every major election even without the million plus fraud votes.
First executive orders of Bush 2001 should have been national photo ID; voting at military bases around the world, and get rid of the motor voter law. If fingerprints were required, the dems would have never won another election. Too late now. Game over.
It’s Philadelphia and “Chester”. These are places where ignorance is institutionalized as the norm. No wonder there is so much crime, welfare, unemployment, and stupidity there. And, of course, they voted for Obama. The good slave always stays on the plantation, never thinking for themselves or going out into the non-welfare world.
This is called “welfare addiction syndrome”.
