We must do what we think has to be done, even if it means we take flak from our families.
In short, we must begin to lead, starting right where we are. Some will join with us, and we’ll be glad to have them. Others will reject us and receive our scorn and contempt.

I tend to agree with you emotionally, but remember, we are not like them. We are fundamentally different from them. We believe in self reliance and freedom. They believe in welfare and enslavement. They can behave like criminals because they believe that the ends, the enslavement of the people, is justified by any means necessary. Bribery, lies, dirty tricks, even force. They do this because once people are enslaved, those are the very skills necessary for keeping them enslaved.
We can’t act like them because you can’t force, or bribe people to be free. You can only convince them that it is a superior way of life.
PS People expect Democrats to lie and cheat because they are at heart criminals who want to enslave others. They don’t expect it from the champions of freedom. If we act like Democrats how can we claim to be any better than them.

Yes....we need to be more like Jesus. Like Jesus when he got mad and threw the money changers out of the temple! Jesus wasn’t some happy Buddha sitting around smiling at all our crazy antics. Would happy Buddha threaten to put a millstone around someone’s neck and throw them into the lake for messing up kids? Jesus knew how to get mad. “Christian” means “Little Christ”. It’s OK for Christians to get mad over a good cause.

Tell that to the people who died on 9/11. Our enemies want to kill big bunches of us. The Obama administration was perfectly fine with letting 30 plus Americans die in Benghazi to protect their re-election. Just how many Americans would they let die to protect their political hides? 500? 10 million? How many would a nuclear weapon kill in LA? When you see that bright flash, it will be too late to vote Republican.
The GOP needs to be cunning like a wolf and as loving as a dove, instead, they are as loving as a dove and as cunning as a cow!
After reading this post and the replies, I recalled an epiphany from earlier in the day.
Something occurred to me about which I am getting more and more frustrated: Nobody is quantifying the enemy here. They demonize the labels, they point to ‘government’, but everyone forgets who the enemy are: Your neighbor, your ‘friends’, your co-workers, your relatives, perhaps even the spouse.
I chewed the heck out of the wife the other night for suggesting Romney should NEVER be elected while dismissing what another 4 years of this crap means to us and the country.
The opposition has organized; it’s called ‘community organizing’. They’ve hijacked non-profits to promote their views to mass audiences, particularly those easily affected by propaganda and enlisted those to perform the same. THAT will take either an economic calamity or a generation to change. The repetetive propaganda has even influenced libertarians I know to vote for a$$hats for the first time.
What can change in less than 4 years is each of us taking charge of ‘our own house’. Don’t be meek: Take it to the max EVERY TIME someone states that ‘we just have to get along’ crap or, worse, rubs the election results in your face. We will never overcome the ‘me-me-me’ crowd; we CAN influence those that vote around us.
Worst case, we might have to rewrite the book on ‘influencing’ those around us; that may include a long, long list of dirty tricks.
After all, while it hasn’t come to bu-—ts (yet), it really is the only approach no one is talking about and the only step preceding raw violence, isn’t it??
