To: Christie at the beach

I think we should remind people every chance possible, as each hunk of bad news comes tumbling down from this administration, that give-a-damn matters in elections. Mitt would have won a hypothetical fair plebiscite in which voting was compulsory, not voluntary.

Then after four years they will be absolutely begging for any warm body with an “R” on it.

I won't be, the GOP does not own my vote and if they're going to act like they do (and indeed they did so with Romney) they will be sorely disappointed; why do you think Gary Johnson, a virtual unknown, got ~1% of the presidential vote?

Don’t forget the debt and inflation. When it takes loads of dollars worth burning to pay benefits, what’s the point of them? Welfare benefits aren’t going to be of much use come soon enough.

these people will not begging for a "R" until they understand the consequences of massive handouts to everybody and his brother....

which means they will never understand it....
