In an unarmed city, there is nothing one can do to protect their property - Nor themselves or their families. Your comment is totally correct.

Cops don’t prevent crime, they mostly investigate crimes and write reports about crime and then cry to politicians to create more laws that they are powerless to enforce. What good are cops when you’re already dead?
