Vote fraud alert: One out of five registered Ohio voters is bogus
Human Events ^ | 9/17/2012 | By: John Hayward

Vote fraud is no big deal, right? It hardly ever happens. It’s so rare that it’s not even worth discussing. Anyone who claims to take the integrity of our ballots seriously is cynically exploiting phantom fears for the purpose of suppressing the Democrat-loving minority vote.

To keep that silly narrative alive, it’s important not to read the Sunday edition of the Columbus Dispatch, in which readers were informed that “more than one out of every five registered Ohio voters is probably ineligible to vote.”

Furthermore, “in two counties, the number of registered voters actually exceeds the voting age population: Northwestern Ohio’s Wood County shows 109 registered voters for every 100 eligible, while in Lawrence County along the Ohio River it’s a mere 104 registered per 100 eligible.”

31 more counties report over 90 percent voter registration, which is a good 20 percent higher than the national average. The Buckeye State sure is civic-minded! Well, except that 1.6 million of the 7.8 million registered voters in the state haven’t voted in at least four years. So I guess they were civic minded, once upon a time. Never fear – I’m sure plenty of those “inactive” voters will reactivate themselves just in time for Barack Obama’s re-election.

You might think these astonishing statistics indicate a crisis-level voter registration problem requiring immediate attention, particularly since this is 2012, not 1912, and modern technology gives us extremely potent tools for accurately managing massive amounts of data. But Attorney General Eric Holder disagrees. Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted sent Holder a letter back in February, warning that “common sense says that the odds of voter fraud increase the longer these ineligible voters are allowed to populate our rolls… I simply cannot accept that.” Husted said existing federal regulations “limit Ohio’s ability to remove ineligible names, thereby increasing the chance for voter fraud.”

No one from the Justice Department ever responded. Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, which called Ohio’s voter registration train wreck to Husted’s attention, is now suing him for failing to take action, beyond issuing a “directive” to remove ineligible voters that Judicial Watch describes as “all bark and no bite,” since there is no evidence that anything was actually done.

Judicial Watch has already filed a similar lawsuit against the State of Indiana, and says other states with disturbing levels of ineligible registered voters include Mississippi, Iowa, Missouri, Texas, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Florida, Alabama, California, and Colorado. Florida’s struggle to clean up its rolls, in the face of active hostility from Eric Holder’s Justice Department, has already made headlines.

Nationwide, the Pew Center for the States estimates about 24 million ineligible voter registrations, including “more than 1.8 million dead people listed as voters; about 2.75 million with voter registrations in more than one state; and about 12 million voter records with incorrect addresses, meaning either the voters moved or errors in the information make it unlikely any mailings can reach them.”

The National Voter Registration Act includes provisions “to ensure that accurate and current voter registration rolls are maintained,” but somehow that part of the NVRA doesn’t seem to count. It’s painfully obvious that we don’t have accurate and current voter registration – not even by the standards of the early Twentieth Century, let alone the early Twenty-First – but the only parts of the NVRA we ever hear cited are the passages that can be used as roadblocks against cleaning up the rolls, or keeping fraudsters away from the polls.

Without solid voter identification laws, every one of these phony registered voters presents an opportunity for fraud – and of course, Eric Holder is dedicated, above almost every other consideration, to blocking voter ID laws. And vote fraud on this scale is not a mess that can be cleaned up after the election. If a candidate wins a tough swing state like Ohio by, let us say, 5000 votes, and it is later discovered that 6000 false votes were cast in the election, the Presidency is not going to be taken away and given to the defrauded opponent. It’s not even like one of those sports scores that picks up an asterisk due to questionable circumstances. It won’t matter at all… except as another data point to be erased from the public mind, when vote fraud defenders crank up the machinery of fear and ignorance for the 2014 midterms and 2016 presidential campaign. And no one on the Left will express a single moment’s remorse for the legal voters who were disenfranchised by stolen ballots. They won’t have names and faces; no one will be paraded through media interviews to complain about the theft of his or her vote in a historic election.

Vote fraud must be prevented, not investigated after the fact. There is absolutely no logical reason for a computerized society to tolerate thousands of ineligible voters on its rolls. The state of Ohio is not a third-world banana republic. At least, it’s not supposed to be one. The sacrifice of national pride, and even self-respect, required to meekly accept counties with 110 percent voter registration is astonishing.

Screw the Stupid Party. Every election cycle, they whine about “vote fraud”, and after every election cycle, they don’t have a line of hanging Democrat bodies to make an example to the rest of them.

The Free Stuff Army won. Shut up and pay, or shut up and start Starving The Monkeys.

The big story appears to be that the Democrat party got their votes out on election day. This was institutionally driven. The machine obviously did not push its drones to go to the Democrat rallies, though. Rally attendance did not count as votes.

It seemed like an outrage that these foreigners were being permitted to “observe” our elections but now it is clear that we are unable to enforce our own voting laws, so maybe we do need outside help (pardon me now while I go puke).

It’s positively Eerie.

Wednesday morning, as I walked my dog past the large group of Black People at the bus stop, I noticed there were NO “High fives” over the reported results of the election, NO Obama T-Shirts, NO celebratory chatter, NO smiles even.

A friend who works in a Government office told me that, although the whole crew was pro Obama BEFORE the election, she was greeted with NO celebrations, NO Smiles, NO gloating, NO enthusiasm on Wednesday. Just a grim, tight-lipped gloom when they were supposed to be victorious.

A client of mine was not only an Obama Supprorter, but actually volunteered on his campaign. I dreaded going there yesterday. However, there was NO MENTION of Obama’s “Victory”...after all the work she did. Instead, she seemed uncomfortable and quiet, and invited ME, A Conservative, to come to Thanksgiving dinner since I would have ended up being alone on Thanksgiving for the second time in a row since my husband’s death.

OK...what does this mean? My only conclusion is that everyone KNOWS how bad Obama is, and everyone KNOWS that there is no way he could have won re-election without massive fraud. While some people may have actually voted for him out of racism or white guilt, or a commitment to marxism, none of that would have been enough to account for such a large margin. The ONLY way this could have happened would be major, coordinated fraud, the mechanism of which has been in place since the unexpected 2010 Tea Party Victory. If Obama Supporters react to his win with confusion, gloom, embarrassment, or apathy, we know that they know that something just “ain’t right.”

JMO.

Vote totals

2008:
McCain: 59,597,520

2012
Romney 53,716,689

It seems like we lost because of apathy, spite, or a significant decrease of 6 million eligible voters.

0bama won in spite of suffering more than twice as much apathy ...

2008 0bama: 69,297,997

2012 0bama: 54,773,837

Chalk that up to the Rats doing a much better job of spiking the vote in key districts to win the swing states.

The Chicago way just went nationwide...
It’s the only explanation for the huge variance between the projected outcome and the election results...no other conclusion can be made.
I know I sound like Barbara Boxer after 2004 election but EVERY pundit and pollster predicted a Romney victory and they do this for a living, their reputations are on the line...how could SO many be wrong unless something happened that they could not detect..
Yeah, paranoia strikes deep but put the economic malaise, unemployment no.s, lack of favor ability, consistently high anti-obamacare polls over YEARS and yet this guy pulls out a squeaker?......riiiiiiight.

In VA, we have a voter registration card, gotten in the mail with no picture attached of the voter or signature. That is all you need...
Every time I vote, I show my driver’s license and am told, “Oh, you don’t need to show me that.” I ALWAYS insist they look at it and I always get a snippy response from the poll worker...it happened again this Tuesday.

God bless you, WVNan....
Totally agree with you and will back this argument to the hilt...
The left will equate this to “birtherism” all the while laughing up their sleeves.
If nothing is done about this, especially after SO obvious a discrepancy, we will never be self-determinant again...tyranny will triumph.

First of all, you are assuming voter fraud only works one way. it doesnt. i find it hard to believe all the fraudulant ballots were cast for obama. second of all, this election wasnt a landslide. the time for action is now. conservatism is as strong as ever, however obama always does a good job of getting uninterested and uneducated voters to vote for him (ie the youth vote)

I am guessing that 10 percent of the votes in the country are bogus votes from the left. And that does not count what they can acomplish by manipulating these electronic voting machines.

Too little, too late, into the depression we go. You can pull out money from your 401k for medical bills and a few other reasons without penalty. Buy a decent handgun, not necessarily for revolution but for burglars and looters. Stock up on prepackaged food and can goods. Good luck to all decent, self-sufficient people.

Very true. And ide like to think it wasn’t happening. If ohio’s voting laws are so lenient you’d think both sides would be able to take equal advantage. Nonetheless that is something they need to deal with. Lets face it part of the biggest problem is that people with Obama phones and food stamps all thought he was great and they all voted for him. Turnout was down among Obama voters from ‘08 because many turned on him. Just not enough. I am proud to be from the state of GA where we consistently deliver republican.

Into depression? Now is the time to rise up and defend conservatism strong as ever. I like Romney don’t get me wrong. But he was no Reagan. Reagan won 49 states. It can be done again with the right candidate. You just need to be able to connect with the voters. And I’m not saying the people who are already going to vote for him. I’m talking the other side. To often in this country we just get a candidate that states their opinion to assure the people that are already gong to vote for him and forgets the other side.

Hate to say it, but you canceled out what you told me above right here.

There is no way a conservative or a Repub is going to win because of the Obamaphone type voters.

If that is true, then how in the world do you think a conservative has even a tiny chance 4 years from now? Fewer jobs and more dependency over the next 4 years will convince nobody to vote for us.

We don’t count the votes, dems do.

Maybe we would have a chance if there was a total collapse. barring that, Forget about it.

I’m not saying the left doesn’t cheat. Seems to me there is a systematic failure and they need to be called out on it. If they were legally required to send you a voter card and they didn’t seems to me you would have a good case. If they weren’t, while you still have a valid argument, it doesn’t hold water. Many people, even here, would support you in your efforts. The problem with the left is they cheat and get away with it because they think they’re smarter than everyone else.
