Barack Obama had nearly 10 million fewer votes last night than in 2008.
But it was enough to win.
Fewer Republicans turned out to vote for Mitt Romney
Mitt won only 57 million votes.
In 2008 John McCain had nearly 60 million votes.
I knew the info in post 82, but not the stats in post 80.
That surprises me. Turnout for Obama on the stump was dismal, and Romney was drawing huge crowds. Also, the youth, this time around, were underwhelmed about Obama.
