Republican Turnout in 2012 Less than 2008 and 2004
Barack Obama had nearly 10 million fewer votes last night than in 2008.
But it was enough to win.
Fewer Republicans turned out to vote for Mitt Romney
Mitt won only 57 million votes.
In 2008 John McCain had nearly 60 million votes.
the house needs to oust boehner and put in a sob like ISSA!
Our Constitutional Republic was a grand idea; a wonderful and fragile experiment in Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness. We are now too far down socialism’s “free stuff” slope to stop the descent into madness and collapse. It’s not the fall that will kill us; it’s the sudden stop at the bottom.
I’d love for Mark to get that spot. Hannity’s heart is in the right place, but if I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard,”Democrats say Republicans want dirty air and water and want to push Grandma off the cliff....”I’d be rich. The repetition is too much for me.

Been here since 1998, have not been very active much in the last few years. (raising family, working my back side off, etc..., Son in College)
I’m ready to come back. Yes I voted for Romney, McCain, Bush, Both... Reagan got my first vote in 1984 as an adult.
I admit I know NOTHING about the Tea Party Movement other than what I have seen on Fox.
This is actually the first broadcast I’ve listened to Mark.
Soooo....
I live in Washington State, Seattle area, and want to start getting involved with this stuff... My vote didn’t count in 2008 for McCain, and it didn’t count for Romney.
SO here is your chance,

agree. Hannity’s heart is in the right place, but the “fair and balanced” libs he has on there screeching have me unable to listen to it anymore. i used to never miss a show when my 4 kids were younger (radio only).

I knew the info in post 82, but not the stats in post 80.
That surprises me. Turnout for Obama on the stump was dismal, and Romney was drawing huge crowds. Also, the youth, this time around, were underwhelmed about Obama.
His GOP-RINO spiel is stuck on that bromide, among 3-4 others. I really try to listen to him, but I usually listen to the day’s missed Chris Plante (WMAL) Morning Shows during that 3-6p time slot, after Rush.
as republicans, we lost sloopter - 1 vote or 59 million votes don’t matter - we lost and we’ll lose again if we don’t do something
its crushing - we lost because we did not turn out and vote
perot tried it - gave us clinton
we need to do the EFFECTIVE thing - not something we know fails

I tend to let talk radio slide during the 3-6 slot. I don’t even know what comes on the other station at that time...guess I should check.
But yep, Sean’s spiel is like an endless loop. I reached my tolerance limit the night my husband turned on his show, and I yelled from the kitchen, “Republicans want dirty air and water!”
Five seconds later, Sean said it.
