I don't remember seeing Smothers in it next time it comes on I will look for him and Dirty Harry's persona.

He plays "Senator" in the scene where "Ace Rothstein" (DiNiro) is applying for a casino license in front of the Gaming Commission,which Smothers (Dirty Harry) is chairing.It wasn't a long scene but it was powerful and important to the story.Smothers is also seen earlier in the film checking in to the hotel (having been "comped",which is a crime) and in that scene he's seen with a very naked blonde.*That* scene only lasts about 20 second.)

Oh I wish you would have told me this before I last watched it I am dying to See the Harry portrayl too bad Harry didn't get whacked.
