Washington, D.C. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) released the following statement after Senate Democrats won enough seats to guarantee they would hold the majority in the 113th Congress:
Now that the election is over, its time to put politics aside, and work together to find solutions. The strategy of obstruction, gridlock and delay was soundly rejected by the American people. Now, they are looking to us for solutions.
We have big challenges facing us in the months ahead. Democrats and Republicans must come together, and show that we are up to the challenge.
This is no time for excuses. This is no time for putting things off until later. We can achieve big things when we work together. And the middle class is counting on us to achieve big things in the months ahead.
That is what the American people expect and that is what the American people deserve.
It’s easy to retain power when your boss orchestrates the largest voter fraud scheme ever perpetrated on a nation. That millions of fraudulent ballots with only ‘Obama’ checked and the remainder left blank means little change in the Senate OR the House.
Why don't you and your comrades work on a budget for once?
FUTD, HR! DD, MFSOB!
(Hint: Reid was the Chairman of the Nevada State Gaming Commission during the period depicted)
Is this the film with Robert DiNero and Sharon Stone?
This from the guy who earlier said he was going to limit GOP filibusters.
What Hairy Reed and the Dems want is an appearance of bipartisanship so they can throw the 'Pubbies under the bus when their schemes blow up or backfire. This is what allows them to avoid responsibility because they can that "the Republicans wanted X and such - we just went along with them in the spirit of bipartsanship."
And, the GOP-E is so dumb they'll play along.
We have big challenges facing us in the months ahead. Democrats and Republicans must come together, and show that we are up to the challenge.”
Why Harry? The Rats have done it alone for 4 years now, just keep doing what you’re doing. BTW, you own it, Bush can’t come to your rescue.
Where’s the link to that story?
Coming from the master of this tactic. Sheesh, can it get any worse.
Yup...Joe Peschi too.God that guy plays a convincing psychopath! Have you seen it? It's not as good as Goodfellas,IMO,but it's still excellent particularly because it's a true story.
Boycott Las Vegas, Reno and the rest of Nevada:
Unless you want America to be like CalifornicatingU land, the rest of America needs to separate the blue state pos’s from your money.
Start a boycott, buycott or avoidcott with the Blue States.
Dont buy a product made or raised in a blue state unless you have proof its owners are not left wingers.
Dont vacation in, or have conventions or business meetings in, Democrat blue states. Start with Nevada until the casino bosses get rid of Reid and send him home to have more time with his family.
Dont visit CalifornicatorU land. Dont go to Follywood movies and stay away from our products except those produced or raised by conservatives.
Avoid NY City like it has the plague. It has the terminal Bloomberg mental illness.
The Blue Staters hate you, your religion, your belief system, and your priorities in life, like your family members and friends. Let the Blue Staters try to live without your $s.
Let the blue states sink on their own!
Save your charity $’s for red state people when disasters hits their area.

Goodfellas was good too pretty violent actually this reminds me of the Obama crew they are ruthless and I don't think they won the election fair and
square and I also believe they have killed people who have gotten in their way.
I’m sure I’ll get blasted (especially by the Christian crowd) but I’m not giving ONE DIME to “help” anyone hit by hurricane Sandy.
Those folks want and vote for big government so let their overlords take care of them. I’m not going to lift a finger.
We take care of ourselves, like when the Nashville area got major flooding in May of 2010.
He plays "Senator" in the scene where "Ace Rothstein" (DiNiro) is applying for a casino license in front of the Gaming Commission, which Smothers (Dirty Harry) is chairing. It wasn't a long scene but it was powerful and important to the story.Smothers is also seen earlier in the film checking in to the hotel (having been "comped",which is a crime) and in that scene he's seen with a very naked blonde.*That* scene only lasts about 20 second.)
It isn’t charity when the government, liberals or miss guided conservatives try to force you or shame you into donating your money.
The more evil ones are those who use OPM (other people’s money) to advance their causes and dip into those funds for their use.
