Please DONOT Hijack this thread to spew your wish of hell and damnation on the residents of NY and NJ. They are fellow Americans and as the bible says the rain falls on the just and the unjust. Such rants are not what FR is about and is liken to the acts of DUmmies.

I feel bad for the residents but I'm happy for Chris Christie. This will give him another opportunity to suck up to his new pals, Obama and Springsteen:

Good luck with that, Kart.

Thanks to the muslim semi-negro's 3yr depression, I have nothing left to give to anyone even if I were so inclined.

What limited resources I have are staying at home.

It's up to NannyBammy and KissyChrissy now . . .

Completely in agreement.

However, I might find myself laughing if Chris Christie's weekly truckload delivery of Little Debbie Cakes got held up.

Those poor people are living in a dangerous area. The federal government, led by the EPA, has to come in prevent people from ever living there again, for their own good.

I wish that was true, but we in Texas have had little rain since 0 bummer won in 2008. I hope his reelection does not mean four more years of drought. Lake Travis - our main water supply - is less than 50% capacity. It is 62 miles long with an average depth of over 100 feet.

We were thinking of donating to the Red Cross or Salvation Army to help the beleagured Northeasterners. But after last night’s elections, they got their Saviour. Barack Hussein Obama. Instead I’ll just look at their plight on my big screen TV from my lazy boy and eat popcorn.

There really are a lot of dickheads on this thread.

More than 3.5 million people in NY and NJ voted for Romney yesterday.

That's more than red states Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas and Alaska combined.

Brainless idiots.

Another reason I live in California. Currently 73 degrees, clear, sunny, with a mild pacific breeze...

I wish everyone on the east coast the best of luck!

The drought this past summer hit Illinois the hardest and Hurricane Sandy hit the District of Criminals.

I call it the curse of Obama.

Ok I will not because you asked nicely. The space below would have contained my rant. I will say that if obama voters in NY and NJ are what defines an American... I am no longer an American.

” *** “!

They are fellow Americans and as the bible says the rain falls on the just and the unjust.

Kart, your Bible also says "the candle of the wicked shall be put out."

And I concur with our colleagues whom I have pinged: these "fellow Americans" are the useless eaters, the Golden Horde, the FSA that we've all become aware of, and the dangers they pose to society. They are the ones who have countless times wished death upon us. Now, if they get even a taste of the horror that awaits them, the horror that you yourself have helped us prepare for, then maybe some of them will have a "come to Yeshua" moment.

But just between us girls, I hold out no hope for them. Four years of socialism have only left them crying out to Fedzilla for more. We've all specualted that there will be a massive body count come the collapse. Maybe it's just begun.

Then don’t start up threads that will bring out such feelings. I know, as you obviously do, that many here are hoping that those in NY and NJ blow the hell out to sea.

But it’s good you told me not to say that. Thanks for the censorship.

Some local talk show hosts here had t-shirts made up a couple years ago that said “Sutpid should hurt!”.

Unfortunately some people refuse to put cause and effect together.

I’m on Long Island and just got my power back last night, after 10 days without.

We did fine, BTW, without it, although the kids were a bit bored by the end of the day. The hardest thing was adjusting our sense of time. After cooking dinner on the open fire of the fireplace, playing a few hands of blackjack and a round of Trivial Pursuit or Pictionary, we’d look at each other and say, “What time is it?” Thinking it was about 9 or 10 o’clock, we’d be surprised to find that it was only 7:15!

I’ve never slept so much in my whole life! LOL

As I look back, I can say that I did a Good Thing when I insisted on only buying a house that had a wood-burning fireplace. I did another Good Thing when I installed a swing-arm hinge in said fireplace and bought a good, heavy dutch oven to hang from it. (Hubby laughed at me when I installed it years ago; He laughs no more. LOL)

So here I sit, watching the snow whip by me in heavy winds, and though we’d still be OK, it is now cold enough for me to hope we don’t lose power again. Right now there is about...oh...5 inches on the ground, but it is heavy snow, and I can see the branches of the trees sagging from the weight. PLEASE don’t let anything fall onto wires...PLEASE!

Regards,
