A nor'easter blustered into New York and Jersey on Wednesday, threatening to swamp homes all over again, plunge neighborhoods back into darkness and inflict more misery on tens of thousands of people still reeling from Superstorm Sandy.
Under ordinary circumstances, a storm of this sort wouldn't be a big deal, but large swaths of the landscape were still an open wound, with many of Sandy's victims still mucking out their homes and cars.
Thousands of people in low-lying neighborhoods staggered by the superstorm just over a week ago were warned to clear out, with authorities saying rain, wet snow and 60 mph gusts in the evening could set back the cleanup, topple trees wrenched loose by Sandy, and erase some of the hard-won progress made in restoring electricity to millions of customers.
"I am waiting for the locusts and pestilence next," New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said. "We may take a setback in the next 24 hours."

LOL!!!
Not from me...I’m just going to enjoy all the whiners that depend on government realize government is a lie and a crock.
They want their big government...suffer for it with no power, water, food, gasoline, etc.!
Preppers’ PING!!
This is why those who complain the preppers over do it by having more than just a few days of preps are wrong! Often disasters are often followed by troubles a Hurricane can past and then a few days later a levee fails. You make it through a earthquake and then a few days later a major bridge collapse cutting off help and supplies.

When it’s 30 below zero here and we have two feet of snow, and my heating bill is $500, let’s just say tiny violins will be playing.
LOL.... then I have nothing to say.
No problem. Chris Christie can just pick up the phone and call his good pal Barack Obama. I’m sure Obama will drop everything and be right there to help.
Maybe the Gov could get his best Buddy and the “Boss” up there and break out another set of Knee Pads. What a jerk.
It is not my intention to bash the people who suffered a loss ,
Just a few thoughts
#1 Bury the dead.........pray for their salvation
#2 Treat the wounded.....pray for their recovery
#3 Do not rebuild anything that was destroyed by the storm/storms, roads built on sand, houses , etc , move out of harms way, why invite disaster and suffering every 100 years or so.
Glad I could amuse you.
The Government will help you as soon as they get back.
FEMA Disaster Centers Shut Doors ‘Due to Weather’
Look they chose to live there. Most of us didn’t.
How about we balance the budget and agree to no more bailouts?
Good luck to Gov. Christie & the folks in NJ.
Me neither....
When Sandy hit, I said pretty much the same thing and was ripped a new one. I guess an election makes a difference. Let Hardy hug Laurel.
