But while everyone was picking apart these and other flaws in Obama's speech, they overlooked the most frightening line of all. That was when Obama promised that he'd pursue "the kind of bold, persistent experimentation that Franklin Roosevelt pursued during the only crisis worse than this one."

We never knew that.
Presumably he means embargos that lead to World Wars, right?
:-)
I was thinking internment camps.
Also when he went on about everything being for you no matter your color, race, country of origin, gender, sexual preference, etc.
Sounding like a unifier it really was a creepy victory bugle for his revolution of left wing minorities, muslims and gays.
Obama’s appalling victory speech
.
“Tonight, more than 200 years after a former colony won the right to determine its own destiny to perfect our union moves forward.”
.
The first element of the Obama Code is the startling state of his grammar. What is the subject of “moves forward”?
.
Grammar, you see, is how we clarify meaning. The Obama Code rests on vagueness, on multiple meanings that can be read into a statement. For the cognoscenti, the meaning can be clear, while the rest of us respond to what we guess is meant, based on the pleasant connotations of many of the words chosen. Nice words like “perfect.”
The second element of the Obama Code is the wink to the hard left buried in his word choices. You see, he told us that our “destiny” is “to perfect our union.” The wisdom of our Constitution, a “flawed document” in Obama’s eyes, is that it does not promise perfection, but rather checks and balances. It consists of “negative rights” and doesn’t obligate government to guarantee largesse (”positive rights,” like health care) to its citizens.
That must change. That is the agenda.

Or try for more than two terms :0
Well, FDR at least tried to prepare us for war, or to get us into the war, but then again our preparations were woefully inadequate. Just like now.
Oh I hate the socialist nightmare, but my real fear always is the war that is coming. Under Obama we are becoming weak enough for the first time that when it comes I believe our enemy may be able to strike the American homeland and get away with it. After all, Obama wants nuclear disarmament. And he doesn’t want bayonets, horses - or ships.
You are not alone.
He will push for a program of costly infrastructure projects. When the House of Reps does not approve, the Republicans will be blamed for the lack of progress on jobs and economy.
“Vulnerability is not measured solely in physical terms. An opposing commander may be vacillating, rash, impulsive, arrogant, stubborn, or easily decived.”
Sun Tzu—”The Art of War”
The subject of “moves forward” is “union.” That agrees. The problem with that sentence is that the union moving forward doesn’t belong there and is awkwardly tacked on to the end of the atrocious syntax and indecipherable meaning of the passage “won the right to determine its own destiny to perfect.”
deceived :-)
First will be the Financial Collapse, then will come the war.
Hegelian effect. manipulation of the masses. Create a problem and then come up with a solution...........
You confuse preparing for war with maneuvering us into war, or with building stuff to give away to other countries fighting a war we weren’t in. One of whom was an evil empire.
He needs money to continue to pass out the free obama stuff.
I suspect he is coming for our 401k money as a cash stream to keep his system of federal patronage going strong until he done in 2016.
What’s his new slogan, “Four more terms”?
They’ll push for roads and bridges, which’ll turn out to be black Jewish lesbian autistic community helping convention centers a few miles from a highway, or something.
