I really hope republicans desert him next year.
Christie is NOT the problem! He didn’t vote that many times (although, if he were from Chicago, my argument would not be as valid).
Americans always try to find a scape goat. But, if so many people are swayed by such insignificant photo ops as Christie hugging 0bama, or, for that matter, 0bama going to New Jersey or New York, then they deserve who they voted for.
If they were really paying attention, they would have been able to sort out what the REAL issues were and vote accordingly. But, I fear, the deciding point is that too many people like gettting freebies from the government, and 0bama and his socialist party promise them more immediate satisfaction in that regard. Christie had nothing to do with that.
I wonder if we’d run Ryan as Pres and Romney as VP if we’d have won then? I doubt Rubio could win against the clinton machine - the stage is now set for Hillary
I'm perfectly content to let FReepers reading our exchange judge the size of Christie's ego on the basis of his body of work, which is freely available on YouTube. If, living in New Jersey, you haven't seen it on display locally, I refer you there.
This is not about Christie. This country is changing and the culture now accepts government sponsored economics as the solution to scarcity. It is more Free Bread and Circus than Christie on a beach.
It cannot sustain. These idiots are championing a “jobs bill” to create jobs? If you could pass a law to create wealth it would have been done already. The followers of Obama are clueless.
When 4 people in a room vote to take the wealth of the 5th, it is become the rule of the mob, not a democracy.
I didn’t say he was THE problem. But it was A problem. There was no reason for the slobbering by Christie. It was a photo op that didn’t need to happen. He could have appeared stoic and in control. Instead he looked like Obama’s fawning stooge. And if you didn’t pick that up, you weren’t paying attention.
I am skeptical about these accusations.
Jersey is destroyed and I don’t blame Christie for trying to get federal help. Homes were swept away, people dead. Frankly, blaming Christie for not acting in the immediate best political instincts for Romney is making us all Stephanie Cutters and Axelrods.
This was a hundred year storm, water never rose this high for at least 5 decades.
We should be attacking the liars, who are Dems, not Christie who has dead people on his hands. Cutter, Wasserstein, Axelrod, Chris Matthews.
No more cannibalism.
