1) Wife voted early (last week). Very long line.
2) I voted this morning, ~0900. Waited in > 1 hour line. This is unusually long for rural WV.
Election emphasis is on local/state elections. Very few presidential stickers/signs out.

How’s the weather, we heard a great deal of snow, and would that keep voters away?

Honestly, I think the election most heavily on many of their minds was the Sheriff.
In 2008, 'we' went heavily for McCain. Unfortunately, 'we' also went heavily for Rat Bastard Manchin for Senate. This time, I saw a few John Raese (Rep for Senate) bumper stickers.

Snow was primarily in western WV ... I'm in eastern part of the state. No snow, we had a hard killing frost last night.
Hope it frosts out the 0bama Regime.
Snow in the west probably won't slow anybody down.

Walked into my precinct and right up to my table, no line.
Was processed right through.
Voted in just a few minutes and am now back to FReeping.
Cast my votes around 10:00am PST.

Sorry, I missed the West Virginia specification. (Yeah I know, don’t ask me how. LOL)
Ignore my comments based on my California experience.

No worries ... if nobody has already done so, you might want to post a CA election thread. Several other state threads are already up.

I voted in Berkeley County early this morning. There were only 4 voting machines at our precinct and a steady line of about 50 people. It took about 45 minutes to vote.

Ratapatooey...
Until around 1990, this was a solid lock Republican town. In twenty years it’s previous majority citizenry was replaced by people claiming to be European refugees.
We’re now a solid lock Left.
Don’t raise the issue of how helpful new immigrants are.
There are plenty of very nice people in this group, but they don’t seem to be able to discern political right or wrong based on our Founding Principles.
I’m am faced with the reality of this. It causes me grave concern about what we’re doing to our nation, with massive immigration.

Yes democrats are using that Obama facebook app to vote for other people. We are receiving reports from all over : people say others already voted under their names.
Help get this to Drudge,Rush,Levin,Hannity or post it on other boards too.

Were now a solid lock Left. Sucks, but it's consistent with what I hear from many other (former) Californians.
