"I asked the voters on either side of me if they had any problems and they reported they did not. I then called over a volunteer to have a look at it. She him hawed for a bit then calmly said "It's nothing to worry about, everything will be OK." and went back to what she was doing. I then recorded this video".

I suppose it depends upon the precinct. Mine used electronic voting machines in the primary, but today there were no machines in sight, except for the official drop box, which tallies the votes as the ballots are inserted.
There is nothing in the video to show that this is a voting machine, or at a polling place, or occurring today. It could be an image on a computer screen, easily generated, with an animation showing the checkmark appearing as the user is touching the screen on his computer.
That said, the background noise adds some realism.

Personally I think whatever the automated method, you should get a receipt, date/time stamped and with the precinct and number of the machine, with your voting choices on it.
Here is where it’s all happening. Voter is still standing behind his story. His comments are below.

EDIT: There is a lot of speculation that the footage is edited. I’m not a video guy, but if it’s possible to prove whether a video has been altered or not, I will GLADLY provide the raw footage to anyone who is willing to do so. The jumping frames are a result of the shitty camera app on my Android phone, nothing more.
EDIT2: I have been contacted by NBC Universal and BBC News.
EDIT3: A lot of news agencies are now messaging me here. Please email centralpavote@gmail.com instead.
He’s from Salem, MA, so the machines are entirely controlled by Dems, state and local.
I understand the sentiment, but this is a bad idea as it facilitates fraud.
Suppose democrat operative Mallory offers Bob a pack of smokes if Bob will vote straight Dem. If the voting machine presents him with a receipt as you said, he could take the receipt out to Mallory, and she could verify that Bob did, in fact vote as instructed. As is, with a secret ballot, Bob can claim he voted Dem, when in fact, he did not. Now, if you were intending that you'd take that receipt and deposit it in a ballot box right there, as a means for providing an audit trail for the electronic votes, I'm all for it.
EDIT4: This has blown up and I'm being bombarded by the media. I'm taking the second half of the day off and will be home in about 1 hour to start responding to the media.
Says he’s married, but has an okcupid site that says he’s single. He is an IT worker by profession. I’m a little suspicious.
He is going to respond to media then the fact checking starts. Lets see where this goes.
Youtube posting has made it to Yahoo front page. Interesting.
