According to FOX and ABC, Barry Obama will watch election returns at the Obama Mansion tonight, before the caravan hauls him some 13 minutes up Lake Shore Drive to Chicago's convention center, the mobbed up McCormick Place on the lake.
(Alleged mobster Rudy "the Chin" Fratto of the prestigious Elmwood Park Street Crew recently pled guilty to rigging forklift contracts at McCormick Place. He's the latest example of an Italian American whose enterprise at least does some actual work... don't get me started.)
Barry's friend Tony Rezko will presumably view some of the exit polls from the day room at the federal prison in Pekin, Illinois. Unless the other inmates prefer to watch Let's Make A Deal. Or the other inmates want to watch the exit poll data and it's Tony who wants to watch Let's Make a Deal. Tony likes to make a deal.
You may remember Rezko overpaid by at least $125,000 for the lot next door to the Obama Mansion the same day Barry bought the mansion from the same seller for $300,000 below asking price.
Subsequently the author, formerly a real estate analyst at Rezko's (since collapsed) bank, met with the FBI and told agents he believed the deal to have been the conduit of a $125,000 payoff, bribe or kickback from Rezko to Obama. Free Republic was all over it--thanks to all of you for your prayers and encouragement and don't hesitate to call.
If Barry loses tonight, does Rezko's prospect of getting a pardon go up or down?
Rezko for Radicals predicts either way, he'll watch this season's "big game" from the day room at Pekin. (The NFL is so tyrannical with their trademark enforcement--even though we pay for their stadiums with tax money--the name of "the big game" is omitted here as an abundance of caution.)
Barack Obama is tremendously greedy. Pardoning Rezko would cost him millions a year in no-show boards, paid golf, paid basketball, and of course speaking fees. (Though on second thought he might make more in paid golf and basketball if he pardons Rezko, it's a net loss in the aggregate because surely it would cost him no-show board fees and "clean" corporate speeches. Plus all hopes of rigged casino deal shares--even as "a minority" and ex-president.)
Rezko has a billionaire friend who can offset the Rezko losses, in theory. Except that Tony Rezko flipped and became a rat. He can't insider deal anymore, having cooperated against Rod Blagojevich. That he kept his mouth shut on Obama is little consolation in the "small u" underworld. Other racketeers won't want to take the chance he just might be wearing a wire. And the legitimate gangsters won't be seen in the same casino with Rezko.
Furthermore, Barack Obama is a severe narcissist. Though he may want his peers (other crooks) to know he's corrupt, when he gives a paid speech to schoolchildren on field trip at the local NBA arena, with Jay Z and the pimp with a limp, he won't want mere first graders laughing and passing envelopes stuffed with fake money from the dollar store.
A press release from the author late afternoon yesterday about Obama calling his mansion purchase "a fire sale" and citing Rezko's prison letter, which indicates feds wanted him to cooperate against Obama:

Obama has always angled to make the Rezko scandal about anything other than the $125,000.
Today we learn that Jesse Jackson Junior may be indicted for buying a $40,000 Rolex for a mistress, with campaign funds. A state rep. under indictment in Chicago was just reelected even though he’s on wiretap taking a “mere” $7,000, “only” $5,000 of which was for him.
Obama would rather the public entertain “conspiracy theories” about whether the Oil for Food guy bought his mansion than understand the $125,000 from Rezko.
Of course “conspiracy theories” are often true but we’ve got Obama pink handed with the 125 large. That’s more than enough.
Now if you should find the Donald Young m... never mind.

And I’m unaware of any suggestion that M.O. has a boyfriend. You are talking about M.O. as opposed to Barry, right?
