Mostly a lurker, but just chipping in my input today. I was voter #1144 at 4 p.m. CST in my tiny little town of Tallassee, Alabama (same town as AlasBabylon!) which is a bit remarkable as our population is only about 5000...and this is not the only polling place...lol
Alabama is solidly Republican but we had 11 Amendments to vote on and also Judge Roy Moore is running for Chief Justice of the Supreme Court again (his old job) so wishing him and Rep. Martha Roby well...
...from what I hear turnout is very high even in red ‘Bama.
