I think Romney has been a great candidate.
Turn out so high in Iowa that some counties are running out of ballots.
Even CNN hasn’t called Wisconsin. I’m not sure why Fox called it so soon.
Thanks a lot big fat mouth Chris Christie! I’m blaming him for a lot of this!
Wow! That’s so nice. I’m saving this lucky post for posterity.
Note to Blue State Liberals: Stay the Hell outa Texas!
That’s national totals, not state.
“The EU would like to welcome America into the Eurozone.”
Yes.
As Megyn Kelly said a couple of hours ago: Don’t forget they called the race for Kerry a few years back.
I’m praying for a miracle.
ABC calls it for NH.
Texas has jobs - needs workers.
Oh come now. Romney was the weakest candidate we could field.
A better candidate, and you win.
Cambria County is going red.
We’re screwed.
Praying for a miracle here, too.
Lemme guess.
Counties that are adjacent to the Illinois border?
Calls it for Obama in NH, that is.
The truth is the GOP is one state short STRUCTURALLY.
Even if Romney wins Ohio, he still has to win CO or Iowa.
The problem is, going forward, EVEN IF ROMNEY WINS TONIGHT...if the GOP can’t make WI work even with wins like Walker, and can’t make Ohio work (still to be seen) with Kasich winning....and the demographics changes taking away VA and Fl. 2016, 2020 look rough too.
More people vote in Presidential years, and those voters look to be more liberal. So we may be in for an Off year/ On year toggle switch for the next decade.
I also forsee a possible GOP shift Center, Dem shift left and possible a new 3rd conservative party with a base in the South and West. It will be decades, but eventually we will mirror Europe and have 3 parties of some sort...even if the 3rd doesn’t hold national office for a long time.
The problem is, like it or not, we are following European trends...just many years behind.
