>> Why wouldnt he expect even more aid from Romney on Jan. 22?

That’s a long time for his suffering citizens to wait, don’t you think?

They’re starving and freezing, some of ‘em. Some things transcend politics, FRiend.

Aid is coming right now, regardless of kissing ass. The feds are in NJ, NY, all up and down the coast, even though Obama was only invited to NJ. The rebuilding aid is what I am talking about, and that won’t be reduced by Romney when he is in charge on Jan 22. Don’t be a DUmmie. If they are starving and freezing, Obama isnt doing such a good job, is he? Maybe Christie should have been asking Obama to do his job instead of kissing ass. As some other poster said, he gave a standing ovation before watching the show.

Huh.

And yet, my Dad's power, my mother-in-law's power, and my sister's power just came back on yesterday, and Tom Corbett was not out kissing 0bama's ass. And as a matter of fact, neither was Michael Bloomberg, complete left-wing tool that he is.

Christie's actions were deliberately taken because he knows perfectly well that once he was shot down for the VP slot, he has ZERO future in Republican politics outside New Jersey.

ZERO.

The Romney ticket was his only get-out-of-joizy-free-card, and it's gone. He had an opportunity to hurt Romney last week, so he took it.

I do note that he could make time in his busy schedule to speak to his has-been, no-talent idol, "The Boss." He also had time to cry about it, and to gush to reporters about how wonderful it was.

But some things transcend politics.
