With less than 24 hours left before Election Day, the movement has been in the direction of Mitt Romney over President Barack Obama, Democratic pollster Doug Schoen tells Newsmax TV in an exclusive interview.
What I see is a presidential race that is within half a percent, according to the Real Clear Politics averages, Schoen, the former pollster for President Bill Clinton, tells Newsmax. But the important point that most commentators havent noted is that the last two days, maybe even the last day, the movement has been in the direction of Mitt Romney.

Schoen and Caddell have been on FOX TV and FOXNews.com today and yesterday on their Campaign Insiders show. I posted their segments here:

Please, please let it be true...
Caddell just said the same thing on Cavuto
BS. The movement has ALWAYS been towards Romney. The Dem media has known this for a long time.
I smell a blow-out.
A New Morning in America...
Yes, exactly what I thought has been happening over the last few days. As O’s Sandy bounce fades, and an expected last minute buyers remorse uptick feeling about O is further accentuated by O’s untimely “revenge” comment, a mini preference cascade for Romney finally happens, at this 11th hour. Never did I doubt that Romney would win, and handily.
Tammy Donnelly in Indiana? Who the hell is that?
Stupidity by interviewer or interviewee or both?
CYA, CYA, CYA, CYA....
The Dem pollsters have no intregity left, to try and bargain with now.
They sold that out for THE MESSIAH.
I agree. Even aloof liberals can realize the seriousness of the moment; That moment when you push the button or pull the handle. It’s not ‘cute’ anymore.. It’s do or die for America.
Historically, that is the way we would expect it to play out. Christie’s Judas act last weekend hurt a lot, but maybe it is finally wearing off.
If the traditional challenger bounce materializes tomorrow, say hello to President Romney.
It took four days, but many folks realized that FEMA under Obama, if anything, is more ineffective than FEMA under Bush. You trying to tell me that no one wargammed a major hurricane stike in NYC and NJ and didn't figure out that gasoline availability was going to be a problem - and then came up with a plan to get temporary gasoline deliveries in place?
Heck, a guy drove a tanker truck from California to the region and was dispensing five free gallons. That, along with inadequate supplies of the most vital commoditiy for survival - bottled water - shows the FEMA planning and response has been an epic fail - again.
But the spin on Geraldo this weekend was “people have a misconception that FEMA is supposed to do more than it really is.” Big difference from Katrina where it was all Bush’s fault, and the state and local responsibility wasn’t discussed much.
Christie. Don’t get me started on that POS windbag.
Can’t wait until Jersey votes him out for a dem anyway.
Does Doug Schoen do any polling currently for the dems?
ON NOV. 7TH MORNING RETURNS TO AMERICA: IN THE END, RIGHT TRIUMPHS
VICE PRESIDENT RYAN
Real Clear Politics = Garbage In, Garbage Out.
They don’t want to come out and say Romney is going to win. So they do it this way so when he wins by 5, 6 or whatever they can say they were right. They saw it coming.
Wow, talk about a last minute shift there, Doug. As late as Wednesday he was saying Bronco was going to eke out a win, mainly because he had the lead in Ohio, etc. Well, that’s not true according to many experts here on FR whom I follow closely. He was covering for Bronco for as long as possible. What a sniveling POS.
