30k+ Rally for Romney in Pennsylvania
Big Government ^ | November 4, 2012 | William Bigelow

An enormous rally for Mitt Romney in Bucks County, PA had people incredulous and tweeting like fury:

@robertcostaNRO my mother is at the Bucks County Romney rally. Says she has never seen a crowd like this. Dwarfs the Bush '04 rally crowd at the same farm.

@robertcostaNRO "The rally doesn't even start for hours, but it feels like a Republican Woodstock." -- my mom, calling from Yardley, PA, a swing area.

From Twitchy:

The rally isn’t scheduled to begin until 5:30 pm ET, but tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians have already descended on Bucks County, Pa., to show their support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. The Pa. rally comes on the heels of a massive rally in Cleveland just hours ago.

How big is the crowd? No official figures yet, but some Twitter users say at least 25,000:

@fran chambers According to a source familiar with tonight's Romney event, 30,000 people are expected to attend.

I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone. This kind of response to Romney around the country would make one think he’s the next President. But then Fox shows polls with Romney down 6 points in Ohio and a couple in Michigan.

I’ll just keep praying. I know that produces results.

Meanwhile, obama was in my town, Hollywood, FL today and he held his rally at a local high school football field. I guess it was the easy way to make it look as if a huge crowd showed up for him.

I know what you mean. I find it very frustrating and I am not sure what to believe.

I think this is worthy of being placed in Breaking News. This size crowd for Romney in a Dem state and Dem county.

Ignore the polls!

I saw that tonight and Romney looks like a man who knows he’ll be President soon.

35,000 people don’t go out to see someone who’ll lose. Its human nature - people like to see a winner!

And there is O’s ever shrinking crowds. When you see the difference - there is no comparison.

Romney will win PA and he will win OH and he will become our 45th President.

The McCain campaign fell apart at the end and everything it did reeked of sheer desperation. It was out-generaled, out-gunned and out-fought.

What a difference four years makes!

A sign Obama hasn’t locked up PA.

If O needs to send Clinton there at the 11th hour, its not a good sign.

That’s more than he won OH by in 2008. No way that is believable

It all comes down to this. Pollsters are basing their numbers on turnout in 2008 where Democrats had a roughly 7% advantage. Do you see that kind of enthusiasm for Obama this time?

I look at early voting numbers. Democrat turnout down across the board.

I look at the polls’ internals and I see Republicans have an edge in enthusiasm and are much more likely to vote (Gallup is saying it will be a +3 Republican electorate). I also see Romney enjoying huge support among independents (Obama got a bump from Sandy, but today I see independents slowly swinging back to Romney).

I look at the crowds at campaign events. Tens of thousands of people standing out in the cold in swing or blue states to hear Romney.

I look at messaging. Obama has been attacking the Tea Party for two days in an effort to get his base out. If he’s still trying to get his base fired up this late he’s in trouble.

I look at where the battle is being fought. In swing states Obama carried last time or in blue states like Pennsylvania Obama should have locked up already.

Obama is mired in the mid to high forties. Big trouble for an incumbent.

The polls are either intentionally or unintentionally oversampling Democrats. That kind of turnout does not appear to be happening nor is it very likely to happen.

Have faith.

Wife and I got on our knees tonight and asked God to grant Romney victory. When Romney is declared the winner on Tuesday night God will begin to heal our land.

Hey there Bluebird...Hollywood gal here too. You know I think prezzy did get a good showing over there at that falling apart high school. But the joke was kind of on him. While his lawyers got the order to force the Broward SOE to open for in person absentee ballot voting for four hours, everyone who might have done it was stuck in traffic a fair distance away from downtown Ft Lauderdale. If by some chance they found a quick way out of the venue, there was no way they were going to avoid the detours and delays that were part of the Won’s departure at FLL.

Also just for grins, I am going to ask the Superintendent of schools who will pay to clean up the mess. He is a former res of Chicago but he did take on our unions so I am curious as to what he will say.
