The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows the race tied, with President Obama and Mitt Romney each attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide. One percent (1%) prefers some other candidate, and two percent (2%) are still undecided. See daily tracking history.
Forty-six percent (46%) are certain they will vote for Romney, while 45% are sure they will vote for the president.
For most of the year, Rasmussen Reports has conducted 500 survey interviews per night and reported the results on a three-day rolling average basis. For the final week of the campaign, we are conducting 1,000 survey interviews per night.

This is one of the best comments I’ve ever read on this site. Thanks for helping to talk some of us off the ledge.
We have to win this election. I know we can.
Get out and vote! Everyone!
I am still bitter that Romney is our nominee. Yea! However, I did vote for him in the general two weeks ago.
If so, then the Republican primary voters who gave us the Romney margin are saying they didn't really mean it, and they now want to keep Obama. It's our own party members who continue to kill us.
People in NJ, as desperate as they are, will sit there forever waiting for Obama to deliver. How do we know? They have already been waiting four years.
In my view, Rasmussen is about the only reliable pollster not corrupted by the media, and has a history of accuracy. He was showing a clear Romney advantage a week ago, and I am sure gave a lot of us confidence that were on our way to victory.
personally, it is disheartening to see the race tighten up in his polls, and especially when it seems to be tied in with the exposure got in the storm aftermath as the media saw a chance to reset the race. In my opinion, even though i'd like to see a lead, if Rasmussen shows It even, I feel pretty good about Tuesday. There is simply more motivation and excitement on our side.
If obama got a bounce from Sandy it’s from people outside the damaged area. Those at ground zero have no communications.
With that said, even though the press is trying to hide it, the screaming “we’re all going to die” and “Get us some f...ing help” IS getting out.
I’m sure some less educated people think the proper name for a hurricane is a “Katrina”.
Did you ever see the movie “Idiocracy”?
“Did you ever see the movie Idiocracy?”
Yes...and it’s here now (See Obama Election, 2008). That would explain some people thinking the proper name for a hurricane is a Katrina.
