Well hope you’re doing okay. So do people in the boroughs vote for mayor or only NYC people?

The city is made up of the Boroughs, with Staten Island being the only Borough with a Republican Borough President and they also voted McCain/Palin in 2008. So basically Bloomberg and Obama could care less about these people. And yet many of the first responders that protect the city live on Staten Island because they can't afford to live in the parts of the city they work.

We’re ALL NYC people, just 5 different flavors.

Doing fine now; power went out Monday night, came back on Thursday afternoon. Flood water was less than a mile away on a major road; the local hospital had to be evacuated. Started to suffer from cabin fever on Wednesday, started going off while listening to Doomberg on the radio.

Have a couple of friends that were affected by the hurricane, and I really want to help them out.

I’m actually not sure, but I’d assume that people in the five boroughs vote for mayor.
