He had the affrontery to oppose himself to Hussein, and mean it (unlike McCain). Hussein takes it personally rather than understanding that this is how the system works, for every politician. Hussein has never really been opposed in the political arena. Until McCain, he took out opponents theough dirty tricks before the game got well underway. McCain played into his ego by stating that voters had “nothing to fear” from a Hussein presidency, thereby undermining his own opposition. Romney is his first serious opponent and he takes it as a personal to himself rather than an opponent espousing different politics.
All this is pretty standard with the far left (the political is personal).
I also believe that he sees Romney as the kind of white man he especially hates because he envies him-not so much a class or money thing, but that Romney knows who he is and where he fits in and Hussein, being an empty husk of a person, has never had that kind of true self-confidence.
Interesting observations. I think Obama despises Romney because Romney is everything Obama can never be.
