As with everything, comparisons need to be made to 2008. Obama beat McCain 52 to 47 (about 240,000 votes).
Dems outnumbered us at the end of early voting in 2008 by 370,000. An outstanding number that we could not overcome on election day and also indies went Obama. But we were able to make up the difference.
Contrast that to today: down only 69,000 dems (many of those are conservative dems) and one day of early voting left (tomorrow). They will severely underperform their early voting margin of 2008 and leave us in good position to cream them on election day.

McCain was the most pitiful choice since Bob Dole. It’s hard to make a valid comparison.
