I would have voted for Palin on the top of the ticket but could not vote McCain. Luckily, I live in Utah....

Well if the enthusiasm is so great and evangelicals are so pumped up about voting out Obama, why aren’t we seeing it ?

Maybe because you are not looking or listening in the right places .

Moral & Spiritual Issues In The Election -Pulpit Freedom Sunday http://www.calvarycch.org/media_center.php?vimeo=1&p=GSX&s=524
You should take the time to watch the video , the Evangelical Pastors no longer care if their excemptions are revoked by the government , they are speaking out and even sent copies of their sermons to the government basically daring them to try something because they know they can win in court .

emax again.

It is there, and that is why Obama is fighting for his own States.

And the internal polls have to fudged to give a much higher +D in these States.

Looking at the REAL internals, it does look like 1980 or even 1984.

Any poll that has a +10D is DOA.

If he is spending money in NC, he is just wasting money.

As a church-going Catholic, I have noticed an increase in political messaging at church (against the HHS mandate, for religious liberty), but they are treading pretty carefully. Carefully though it may be, there is some every week, and it is coming from the top of the Church in the US, so it is pretty consistent across the country.

Well, not exactly. It very much depends on the polling service. Rasmussen didn’t exist back in the Reagan days, and if you look at their history they tend to be the most accurate. They say Romney is about tied or ahead in Ohio and in the swing states, so that is the cause of my optimism. Were that not the case, I would not be nearly as optimistic.

Most pollsters tend to be crap so are worthy of being ignored. Rasmussen is not of this sort. They seem to have better methodology and hence better results. It is rather amusing that Democrats tend to ignore this evidence, but hey, they love the kool aide.

Bologna.

I’ve been told here a thousand times that evangelicals would rather vote for a left-wing Muslim than a right-of-center Mormon. LOL

You Madam ... are more full of Obama-Shiite than a Christmas Turkey ...

I challenge you to EVER back-up that claim ... a 1,000 evangelicals who prefer to vote for the Pro-Gay Pro-Abortion Muslim Attrocity from Kenya ...

versus Mormon Myth Romney.

I am perhaps the most vocal and outspoken Evangelical Christian Tea Party Patriot at Free Republic ...

who has stated that my personal faith prevents me from voting for any Christ-Despiser like Myth Romney ...

For you to imply that I ... and hundreds like me ... would ever vote for the Socialist Kenyan ...

instead of "Myth Romney" ...

is a lie typical of the propaganda crap that we hear from the NYT and the criminal who occupies the White House.

Get your "facts" together ... better ... the next time you take a cheap shot like that.

Savy, Punk ?

This is very good to learn.

I know that in the heady days of Viet Nam, weekly anti-war messages were heard (my Catholic friends told me) that turned many a Catholic against the war and other social messages have come on many a Sunday from Catholic parishes.

I didn't know if the faithful were hearing enough anti-abortion, anti-homosexual union messages were being mentioned, as a local group that pushes abortion is headed by a woman who serves as a lay leader in her Catholic parish.

Obama wasting money is the norm for him. It’s his habit even addiction. Romeney’s up by 3 in NC and Obama is still firing just as many ads as before the 1st debate. When the story came out that he was conceding NC, CO and VA. and he said he was conceding nothing, he wasn’t kidding. I’m telling you, it doesn’t matter how much the war chest is, he’s doing the norm. Spending what he doesn’t have. I don’t know if anyone can tell me that they are seeing more Romney ads than Hussain ads in their state.

We go to a neighboring church to hear our former Catholic priest give his sermons during this election season. he is FANTASTIC, the week before last in his homily he spoke of how he had gotten many complaints [as well as compliments] on his sermons, that he was being TOO passionate and too political. He spoke about how he was not there to tell us what we wanted to hear, but to preach the word of God and if it conflicted with policies espoused by any candidates then we needed to hear that. He said he’s not concerned with it making us uncomfortable, or boring us bc we have heard it all before, that his job was to preach God’s word. i wish all priests had his gift, and his fearlessness.

Obama doesn't want to appear to be losing so he will continue the facade right to the end.

Ofcourse, he is just destroying what is left of the Democrat Party in the process.

I got a robocall today from a large Catholic fraternal organization urging me to vote, and to help support a culture of life and the sanctity of marriage.

First time I have ever received such a call.

I wonder if the big move of independents against Obama in the South has been due to preaching among Evangelicals?
