Totally crashes the “it was an inflammatory video” excuse.
You had an ambassador and communication professional (Smith) who were guarded by the ‘February 17th Martyrs Brigade’.
Were they trafficking heavy arms to Syria? Probably. We’re they doing something hinky? Definitely.
Was what they were doing likely the province of the CIA? Most definitely.
Had people, including Stevens, raised alarm bells about the lack of security? Yup!
Was the CIA looking in on outright incompetence, while literally within earshot of rifle fire? Yes!
This all display Obama’s ideology, long held paranoia and bias world view. I’m sure Obama and his people thought what Steven’s was doing was sexy, because it was risky. Of coarse, a leftist can’t trust rank and file CIA, right? The CIA killed Che, Obama’s hero, Obama is the self styled Che of the new Islamic caliphate.
Again, you can’t trust the CIA, that is until your getting your ass shot off in a third world hell hole and your leftist party friends leave you for dead.
Stevens and Smith were expendable to Obama, but they weren’t expendable to Woods and Doherty.

This is looking more sinister to me.
I start from the premise that The Disaster wanted someone killed in this affair in that consulate. I’m thinking it was the ambassador but not because of gun running.
He wanted him killed in order to make a “Gay Hero” out of him right before the election. There would have been an orgy of propaganda for Queer Marriage and he could have ridden it to re-election. I know this sounds weird but they have known for months that The Disaster is losing big time and are desperate.
If his security did not think the consulate could be protected from a coordinated attack, what was the ambassador doing there on Sept. 11....and with no extra security?
He was running guns to terrorists in Syria through the Turks. The Turks left the meeting with Stevens without incident. Once the Turks left, the attacks started.
A better question who be, why did Stevens meet with the Turks in Benghazi instead of Tripoli? I can only image it is safer in Tripoli, more comfortable in Tripoli and a whole lot easier to fly into Tripoli. My tentative answer is there is something tangible in Benghazi of mutual interest to Stevens and the Turks. I think when we know what was stored at the CIA Annex, then we will know the answer.
A little knowledge of history may help in understanding the Ottoman's desire for a Caliphate and at what lengths that they will go to establish their empire again.

does anyone else wonder what our other ambassadors throughout the world could be doing, besides their job, with the secret help of The Traitor?
Also interesting story discussing that Benghazi neighbors witnessed checkpoints set up around the perimeter of the consulate while Stevens and the Turkish diplomat were meeting. The checkpoint was manned by militants. The Turkish diplomat would have had to pass thru them to leave, yet he said nothing to alert Stevens as to whAt was transpiring outside the compound.
