Lloyd Grove of the Daily Beast offers a positive profile of CNN's Soledad O'Brien -- she's "Cable TV's New Morning Thunder" -- but the morning host appeared quite arrogant in her trashing of Rudy Giuliani.
Grove loved her smack talk at Rudy as she tried to deny a Libya coverup on October 22: "It was the sort of thrashing that very few TV hosts would have the nerve to administer to the hero of 9/11. At an hour when many bleary-eyed viewers are waking up and easing into their day, it was the morning-show equivalent of spilling coffee on the bedsheets. It was also riveting television." And then she compared handling Rudy to talking down to one of her children:
“I really wasn’t pissed—we just had to lay out some ground rules,” says O’Brien, a 46-year-old mother of four. “You know what it reminded me of? It’s like when you speak to your kid, and you’re like, let me tell you something: we can disagree, or we can agree, but this is how it goes."
A child that could verbally bit*h slap Soledad with so little effort that she wouldn’t even know it had happened.
I bet she dresses her boys in girls clothes
Ignorance and arrogance combined is such an ugly combination.
I remember 20 years ago when she was the little cub reporter/special assignments/token Hispanic girl at KRON 4 in San Francisco...she was cute in a high school journalist sort of way, but even back then I thought he had maxed out her potential. :)
I ponder how she treats her husband, provided he’s still around?

Soledad was a commentator for a medium that occupied a brief period of dominance on this planet.
She was on the waves (radio first, before Soledad, then TV). Her medium was not, in the end, a font of the truth.
It wanted to be a purveyor of such but it became infected by ideology.
The world became a desperate place and, eventually, ideology gave way to the truth (that is, The Truth).
Soledad didn't make the transition.
Goodbye, Soledad.
If she treats her kids like that, someone needs to call DYS.

If it weren’t for WH and DNC talking points Obrien would have nothing to say. She adds little to the debate with her predictable Democratic bias.
No big thing......... what kind of viewership does this guy, O’Brien, have? Probably a total of 7 people saw the show, including the show’s producer, camera man and light man.
I didn’t see her until she came on NBC national in some capacity. At the time I remember her commenting on some email she was getting, and she was all put off because some guys thought she was attractive.
I guess that’s a real insult if you’re trying to make your mark as a Leftist.

she is the anchor around CNN’s neck.
She’s more like a high-priced media whore - big on looks, short on brains, but instead of walking the streets, she walks the airways.
I think the term could also be “media skank.”
