Obama Email During Hurricane: ‘Got a Phone? Get His Back’
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/29/Obama-email-campaign-phone
Oh, hurricanes are sooo politically risky. /sarcasm
Sign some papers. Do some flyovers (we all know he loves the executive flight perks). Photo ops. Internal decisions. No world leaders involved. No major international decisions.
What a poser. Preening arrogant bumbling adoration whore.
No, it’s too late in the game.
I don’t know who is more shameless, Obama or his media benefactors and enablers.
It all comes down to the power in Philadelphia. If the city is mostly up and running by Wednesday, Obama gets the credit and enough votes to carry the state of Pennsylvania. If Friday comes and the city is still mostly shut down and people don’t have power, Obama gets blamed and won’t get enough of a margin in Philly to win the state.
For Obama to look like a hero, the governors in the affected states have to be completely incompetent.
Since NJ is one of the hardest hit states and Christie is all over this thing in his characteristically blunt and forceful way... and Cuomo in NY has been out in front... no.
What could Obama do that’s going to swing anything from the prior trajectories? We knew and expected NY/NJ were going to tip Democratic. They will after this is over, too.
Doubtful. If he responds quickly, people will rightly ask why the Executive Branch couldn't be bothered to respond as quickly to the Benghazi attack. If he responds slowly, people will rightly remind him of his criticisms of Bush handling Hurricane Katrina.
I hope it’s too late and that the Romney landslide continues to build uninterrupted.
I’m not so sure though. The idiot voters out there will no doubt be impressed with his “leadership” during the crisis. I just hope there aren’t enough of them left to make a difference.
I won’t rest easy from now until election day, that’s for sure.
“No, its too late in the game.”
The storm is the ominous specter in the background of his political demise and his name will be mud forevermore.
This storm is the perfect metaphoric backdrop for what his administration has been to the nation the past 4 years.
Good riddance to both!
No. “Get the hell off the beach!”
It’s all Bush’s fault.
It’s helping him from losing more ground.
This storm has completely dominated and will continue to dominate the news until the election.
If this storm didn’t happen, I believe the news would have at some point this week HAD to have started covering the Benghazi coverup.
I have no doubt Oblunder is thanking allah for this storm.
I hope it is too late. Romney was definitely heading for a fairly significant win. Even Ohio was falling in line. Looked to be a solid 5-6 point win and 300+ Evs.
We are in uncharted territory. Yes Obama can be “presidential”. But he is the one behind. And cannot unleash a lot of negative attacks. Romney is winning and needs to be closing on a positive note anyway.
And for 80% of the country they are not directly impacted. And 90% of Romneys support is coming from that 80% of the country. Could be some impact in VA, NH, PA.
I still think Obama will try to delay voting in the most affected states. Now I don’t think he can do this by executive order, based on my reading of the constitution. But you can get a federal judge to extend voting anytime. So maybe a federal judge will allow some state to delay to not dis-enfranchise voters.
And then their are the political and visual impacts if Romney tries to block any changes to the election.
So again, a ton of different scenarios to play out. Obama surged ahead in 2008 on the Lehman financial disaster. I’d hate to see him get re-elected on the back of a natural disaster.
Thoughts? (make me feel better)
I dont know who is more shameless, Obama or his media benefactors and enablers.
all of them
Sandy will help only in that it provides cover for Bengazhigate. Katrina only matter because the media blamed BUSHROVE 24-7.
Even the undecided voters (whatever the heck they are thinking) can only take some much pro-Obama media flack without vomiting.
Oldplayer
I dont know who is more shameless, Obama or his media benefactors and enablers.
all of them
So much for Obama slowing the rise of the oceans.
