Oh, hurricanes are sooo politically risky. /sarcasm
Sign some papers. Do some flyovers (we all know he loves the executive flight perks). Photo ops. Internal decisions. No world leaders involved. No major international decisions.
What a poser. Preening arrogant bumbling adoration whore.

No, it’s too late in the game.

For Obama to look like a hero, the governors in the affected states have to be completely incompetent.
Since NJ is one of the hardest hit states and Christie is all over this thing in his characteristically blunt and forceful way... and Cuomo in NY has been out in front... no.
What could Obama do that’s going to swing anything from the prior trajectories? We knew and expected NY/NJ were going to tip Democratic. They will after this is over, too.

the obvious question among press and pundits was, will his management of the disaster now wracking the northeast pay political dividends? Doubtful. If he responds quickly, people will rightly ask why the Executive Branch couldn't be bothered to respond as quickly to the Benghazi attack. If he responds slowly, people will rightly remind him of his criticisms of Bush handling Hurricane Katrina.

I heard this evening the NY sub ways are flooded and it could take 4 days to get them back up and running. This along with the millions in damages throughout
The east coast will not help the Rats GOTV efforts. Obama will need more than a TelePrompTer to look good in a few days.

It’s helping him from losing more ground.
This storm has completely dominated and will continue to dominate the news until the election.
If this storm didn’t happen, I believe the news would have at some point this week HAD to have started covering the Benghazi coverup.
I have no doubt Oblunder is thanking allah for this storm.

I am not worried at this point about the impact on the election, said Obama in his reply to the one question he took in the Briefing Room from CBS News Bill Plante Bullspit. EVERYTHING in Øbozo's universe revolves around the central calculus of his personal ambitions.
The one very real way where he could make certain that he doesn't allow a "serious crisis to go to waste" is immediately in the wake of the storm to start splashing (taxpayer) money around. ...or Øbomaphones ;-)

But for Philly, Pa is a Red State.
But for Baltimore, Md. is a Red State.
Anything that suppresses the vote in Philly or Baltimore could devastate B.O.

Tell me, Obama, what were you worried about when you condemned to DEATH, Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods, Christopher Stevens and Sean Smith?
While they were still fighting and dying, were you worried when you simply went to bed?

The left has launched into a spewing slobbering frenzy over Romney’s (misquoted) 2011 FEMA remarks.
Surprised no mention of it here. Better keep an eye out, digging for more info.

The way I see it is Zer0 is all tangled up with Sandy to deal with another storm surge: Benghazigate. As the information dribbles out, soon it will reach critical mass and the electorate who has not voted because of Sandy, will start going to the polls. Just at that time, the Lame Stream Media will be forced to start talking about Benghazigate, thinking it is late enough in the election cycle to not make a difference. The only thing is, it will not be too late. The trap will spring with precise timing. Zer0 will be exposed just like the Wizard in
the Wizard of Oz. And it will be too late in the game for Zer0 to talk himself out of the facts.
Romney may appear detached from Benghazigate, but behind the scenes, there is a plan . . .

It depends on how fast he can pour more federal money out to the moochers.
Disguised as emergency aid, of course.
