ROMNEY SURGES IN MAF PAC TARGET STATE
OF OHIO - UP 2 POINTS IN NEW POLL

Last month MAF PAC deployed Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee to carry the MAF PAC banner through the battleground state of Ohio. Debbie spent a week in the buckeye state and delivered official MAF PAC endorsements to several candidates including Marine Corps Veteran Josh Mandel, running for Senate. 

Knowing that Ohio is a critical battleground state in the fight to defeat Obama gave us even more reason to spend time there. Now, new polls show Romney surging in Ohio!  That's great news for all of our candidates in Ohio who will benefit from higher Romney numbers bringing more people out to the polls.

A new poll shows Mitt Romney 2 points ahead of President Obama in Ohio, in the latest survey showing the vital battleground contest tightening and too close to call.

The Rasmussen Reports poll of likely voters had Romney slightly ahead at 50-48 percent. The lead, though, was well within the 4-point margin of error -- the results effectively reflect a virtual tie in the Buckeye State.

Another poll released over the weekend, by the Ohio News Organization, showed the candidates knotted up at 49 percent each.
 

We can't stress enough how important the state of Ohio is. While it's not impossible for Romney to get the 271 Electoral College votes he needs without Ohio, having Ohio would open up many more possibilities. Here at MAF PAC we have known all along that Ohio would be absolutely crucial to Romney's overall victory over Obama. That's why we sent Debbie Lee there to turn out votes and activate the pro-troop base in Ohio.

MAFPAC ACTIVE IN BATTLEGROUND STATE OF OHIO

MAFPAC visited Bethel, Ohio, just outside of Cincinnati to endorse a new friend Brad Wenstrup. Brad is a combat surgeon who served in the Iraq War saving lives and winning hearts and minds. Brad was already a practicing doctor when he joined the U.S. Army Reserves in 1998. In 2005 he was deployed for a year of active duty in Iraq where he served as a combat surgeon with the 344th Combat Support Hospital.

Josh Mandel, the State Treasurer of Ohio and Republican nominee for Senate, is the perfect candidate to defeat the liberal Sherrod Brown and bring American values back to Washington. A tough-as-nails Marine Corps veteran who served two tours in Iraq, Josh has never backed down from a challenge to help his country and his calling now has him running for US Senate. Debbie Lee endorsed Josh in a speech at Cedarville University in front of hundreds of supporters

 

 

 

US Army Reserves veteran Steve Stivers is one of MAFPAC's longest-running candidates, since he first ran for office in 2008, again in 2010 and now in 2012. Lt. Col. Steve Stivers has had MAFPAC support all the way. Debbie Lee was also invited by Congressman Stivers to testify before Congress earlier this year. We are proud to re-affirm our longstanding support for this Iraq War Veteran, Lt. Colonel Steve Stivers.

Jim Renacci is a solid conservative who has stood behind our troops every step of the way. He comes from a longtime military family with uncles, cousins, and nephews representing every branch of the military. This small Ohio district is being completely flooded with outside money from Democrats, the DCCC and Leftists Super PACs. One such outside group, the so-called "House Majority PAC" has already run $400,000 in advertisements attacking Jim Renacci and the group promises to spend up to $1.3 million!

If we can take Ohio away from Obama, it closes a lot of doors for him and leaves him only a few paths to 271 EC votes and 4 more years in office. That's why Ohio is so important. MAFPAC has worked tirelessly in the Buckeye State to drive votes for these Senate and House candidates.

The more people we can get the polls to vote for people like Steve Stivers, Brad Wenstrup, Jim Renacci and Josh Mandel, the more votes Romney will get. The more people who go out to vote for Romney, the more votes our legislative candidates will get.

We must do everything we can to keep up the good work in Ohio! With these new polls showing Romney neck-and-neck with Obama, Ohio would be the perfect market to run our FIRE OBAMA ad

  COLUMBUS, Ohio – Republicans in battleground Ohio accused Democrats of possibly trying to buy votes with pizza. The Ohio Republican Party filed a complaint Wednesday with the Franklin County Board of Elections alleging the Buckeyes for Obama student organization at Ohio State University violated a law that prohibits offering something of value for a person’s vote.

It’s not the Dhims that I have concerns with. It’s the Paulites who slipped through the crack and became Electorate Voters. In the case of 270 or a bit higher than that, they can hijack or at least blackmail Romney & Co.
