No intent was meant to be snarky...I’m a native New Yorker..lived and worked in the city and burbs all my life, until a few years ago..both my daughters, and their families are in Westchester, and I have many friends having a miserable time with the storm, and the aftermath..
Glad to hear it! Some on FR automatically dump on NYC b/c of the politics. My kids are OK. They don’t have power but are safe and have food that will get them through it. I heard it’s going to be 4 days before power is restored to the underground line served areas. Egads. What a mess.
Hope your friends and family are OK, too. My nephew in Brooklyn (near Prospect Park) has power and internet. Sounds like Heaven!
