To clear up confusion... Battleground has historically done both a tracking poll as well as a vote projection based on its polls. Here’s a link to their past projections since 1992. Judge for yourself:

Wow, that’s an interesting chart. :)

So this TWS article is where Brit Hume got the R+5 from! Needless to say I am confused about the Battleground Poll showing O+1, and this TWS article. Can you provide some clarity?

I have to admit the commentary by Ed Goeas is encouraging. As well I liked what Karl Rove had to say on FNS.

i assume the link is for “vote projections”...until i read the footnote about their tracking poll being accurate...bear with me: does the table refer to vote projections or tracking poll?

Will this be the Battleground Poll’s final projection?

Thank you Art.

I went to your link and found it very interesting.

I was confused about one item in that PDF file....it was the 2008 election. Instead of “actual” vs “projected” for the McCain/Obama 2008 race they use something called a “torrance” vs a “late projections” notation.

Not that I consider you an expert to put stress on you, I know you just provided a link. But if you know what that’s about could you clarify?

But, again, thanks for the link, the truth is right there in front of eyeballs.

Wow.

I think Romney’s going to win in a landslide, yes I do. There are so many signs of this and like Rush says, this run up to the election they have to report the truth else in the future they will be mocked.

And, as Rush said, the polls all show Romney taking a lead.

I think the Obama campaign is desperately trying to hide their impending doom because their internals likely show a landslide as well. They’re struggling to keep any notion from a landslide away from the meme cause THAT will keep away the few even bothering to vote for the moron.

America could have elected a fine upstanding black man who loves his country. Allen West comes to mind but there lots of choices. They didn’t have to pull this moron out of the pot-smoking crowd, goodness how they’ve hurt themselves by choosing Obama as their benchmark. We can thank the dictator-loving Black congressional caucus for Obama, not noble folks who loved their children and want a good life for their future.

Instead Obama will go down forever and ever as a disaster. If we get Romney in there and with some serious elections of local conservatives across the fruited plains, we can turn this country around and set it straight.

Then, about 20 years from now America will elect another moron, maybe a Muslim or some such....cause, well that’s our pattern here in America.

We’re nice, open-minded and like to give everyone a chance.

OBama blew it.

Sad.
