here is the question that people are not asking... Why did the 2 seals leave the CIA base and go to try to help the ambassador? Were they the only ones at the CIA base? Were others following the orders not to help?
Per some reports, besides Woods and Doherty, 2 other Americans and some 60 Libyan security guards initially accompanied them.
Those other 2 were the ones who recovered the body of the Ambassador’s aide, Sean Smith, IIRC.
I understand that there were people evacuated from the embassy, or whatever it is called today. Some numbers I’ve heard are 20-30 were helped by the two SEALS who then went back to find/help Stevens.
If this is true, I wonder why we have heard nothing from any of them as to what was going on....you know, like a protest, or an ambush or whatever.
