Here they each had a golden opportunity on nationwide TV to drive home some salient points.
Instead, their thoughts were unorganized, almost incoherent...and flat. What a waste of a perfect chance to score some really sharp points.
McCain, with his never-ending obsession for TV face time always ends up saying nothing of value and just takes up a spot some good conservative could fill. Even the Dem, Pat Cadell, has something to say....and knows how to say it with passion.
Sheesh, can't these experienced GOP guys put together an oral paragraph while on camera that has a grabbing beginning, a juicy middle and a good punch line to close the remarks?
I (and/or any politically-educated freeper) could do a better job than these two twerps coughed up today....no sound and fury......just gray hairballs signifying nothing.
Still and forever the stupid party, I guess.

Here is the situation. Americans are going to be selecting their representatives for the next term in about a week.
The president and his administration are unable to provide any information regarding the incident in Libya where Americans were killed.
They are telling us that they will be doing a thorough investigation which is expected to be completed after the election.
This sounds very much like the Pelosi statement telling the congressmen that they have to vote for Obamacare to find out what is in it.
My personal view is that since they have told us a number of variations of the story that have proved false and it appears that they are trying to stall until after the election that the truth is going to be very damaging to the president. I will vote accordingly and I hope others do also.
Amen Leni.
Romney will hit the Libya button the weekend before the election.
In a sense I understand what you are saying, but if McCain “made like a FReeper” he’d be slammed as an extremist, and disrespectful, from every direction (except ours).
I think he’s being more judicious, and slipping in a key point. It only has to work on a few % of the voters now thinking of voting for Obama, or unsure...
His point? To quote: “We know that is patently false.”
McCain just called Obama a flat out liar. Given McCain’s history, do you really expect to get more out of him? I was rather pleasantly surprised, myself.
My recollection, watching (I don’t have the full transcript handy), was that he also pretty much called the Administration incompetent.
Now if he’ll just keep saying these things, it might draw a little attention...
