NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Madonna drew boos and triggered a walkout by several concertgoers after she touted President Barack Obama on her "MDNA Tour" in New Orleans.
The Material Girl asked during Saturday night's performance: "Who's registered to vote?" She added: "I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama." Drawing boos in touting Obama over Republican Mitt Romney, Madonna followed: "Seriously, I don't care who you vote for ... Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote."

New Orleans. If it’s like most non-hiphip/R&B/Rap concerts in New Orleans half the crowd was white Republicans from Jefferson, St. Tammany, and Biloxi. Not everything is politics to everyone. Her going political probably just snapped them out of it and if anything will hurt Obama.

Bottom line is when the year end official highest grossing tours and highest earning celebrities of the year lists by Forbes are out you will once again see Madonna in first place destroying her younger so called competition. She is set to double her worth to nearly 1 billion with the current tour alone. We should all be such an old washed up hag at 54. Culturally irrelevant and pulling in half a billion dollars? I bet there are many young pop stars who wish they could be so “culturally irrelevant.”

She’s the same celebrity who said she would not allow her own children to listen to her music or watch her videos.
At the time she said this, she targetted her filth to her childrens’ age group. Does she meet your definition of “successful?”
What value will she realize in gaining the wealth of this world at the cost of her own soul?
I don’t know what you mean by targeted to her children’s age group...but her kids definitely hear her music, and they aren’t fans.
