NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Madonna drew boos and triggered a walkout by several concertgoers after she touted President Barack Obama on her "MDNA Tour" in New Orleans.
The Material Girl asked during Saturday night's performance: "Who's registered to vote?" She added: "I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama." Drawing boos in touting Obama over Republican Mitt Romney, Madonna followed: "Seriously, I don't care who you vote for ... Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote."

She already had their ticket money. She didn’t care if they left. Now if she ever were Dixie Chicked, that might be different.
My point was that Madonna fans booed her because of Obamadinejad. Things aren’t looking good for Barry.
Dallas was seriously conservative in my youth in the 60s and 70s....being from Jackson MS as a boy and living in a small townhouse off Preston when dad worked for Texas Industries..and having kin there (Cowboy cheerleader)...it was my big town...that clickety clack 400 miles on Hwy 80 from Jackson to Dallas...Dallas skyline rising from the start of the west like Oz...to me anyhow...from about Terrell onwards....man I loved that town...had a lot of fun there in the 80s too...the women..good lord
i was there last summer...noticed like most big places a lot of elite urban white kids...libs...in the fancy parts like lower McKinney
but I also noticed more real people too...even in tony areas
we went in all the stores from downtown up thru the Parks to Northpark and I actually met nice store owners who were very conservative and we would strike up conversations about hunting leases or how Obama is Satan...and more southern accents than here too
that would NEVER happen in the fancy or academic areas of Nashville...wall to wall libs mostly here in upper middle class white areas...with the exceptions of some deep pocket GOP contributors
now the suburban rings are complete opposite here...vatly right leaning
