Normally, I have no difficulty writing this column. I see it as a way to provide busy readers a coherent narrative of the best of the week's most important news -- largely as reported by the alternative media and ignored by its richer, fatter and lazier media opposition.
This week is sadly different. The latest news coming out about the murder of our ambassador and three other brave Americans in Ben Ghazi is so horrifying and shocking I can take no pleasure in writing about it. It's still largely unreported by the legacy media. Fox News has been a leader and there's been some coverage at CNN by Anderson Cooper, but PBS and the alphabets have been doing their best to keep from you the incompetence, treachery and outrageous behavior of the President, Vice President, Secretaries of State and Defense.
Luckily, their "firewall" -- blaming the tragedy on a hapless producer of a video trailer, the CIA, and lower level State Department officials -- seem (as one might have predicted, and I did), to result in numerous leaks to the press, undercutting that pack of lies.

This is what liberals do. The thing we all need to really be worried about is the 60 million plus people who vote these people into office.

As the CIA guys did their unauthorized mission...they did return to the safe-house, and based on info...it was compromised. I would say also...typically, the CIA guys aren’t designed as a rescue force but they were doing the best they could under these circumstances.
Now, what you should also ask at the end of this...are the CIA guys getting recognition of putting their lives on the line and doing a unauthorized mission? If they are being reprimanded, then you might want to know that. If they aren’t going to be recognized for they did...you might want to know about that. This part of the story has yet to unfold on TV news.

Yea, but reprimand or recognition doesn’t come until after the dust settles.
Perhaps the Ambassador appealed to the two men directly before he was taken.
But it’s interesting that nobody mentions how the CIA safe house cover was blown. Perhaps that’s why they were ordered to stand down, to save other peoples lives and preserve the CIA safe house.
Not to defend Obama, I hate him, but when you don’t have the big picture and disagree with an order, you just don’t know what havoc you’re going to to cause.
99.9% of the time you just do what your told, and expect your subordinates to do what you tell them.
God Bless them, but I wouldn’t have jumped out there after being ordered to stand down.
Then you would have left these people to die alone, or you would have let Obama’s plan to take hostages so he could free the blind sheik to go through.
You cannot blow an “open” secret. Everyone is Benghazi knew who and where. This is more than obvious form the multitude of reports available from various news agencies. Note only Fox among the big 5 has reported, however Reuters and AP are reporting now. The big 4 are awaiting permission from the White House.
I hope this doesn’t hijack the thread, but I read the entire article on American thinker. I’m from Ohio and sick of seeing all the anti-Josh Mandel signs even on conservative sites. This is the same ad Sherrod Brown has played ad nauseam on tv all summer.
Ok, just wanted to rant. We need Josh Mandel to kick the commie Brown out of office and these ads aren’t helping.

Yes, Obama is a scoundrel, fraud, probably not a natural born citizen, last in his class, drug user, narcissistic bed wetter, but that’s just my opinion.
CBS News had an article yesterday, trying to keep the video explanation alive. I bet they're glad Sandy is out there to deflect upon. She'll be front page news all the way through. I've asked CBS News in a cordial tone to please report in depth on the Benghazi debacle, because the truth will come out one way or another. Not that I have any voice in the matter.

Look, I haven’t come across anything that definitively say’s the CIA safe house cover was blown prior to the rescue attempt of the Ambassador.
I’m just speculating on the rational side (meaning I’m not considering any grand conspiracy yet involving Obama’s motivations)
If I’m wrong, that’s fine I’ll accept it. I’ll accept any reporting from FOX on the matter if you want to give me a specific pointer to where this has been specifically covered.
