Reports get a bit chaotic in these situations.
Some places are now on their fourth wave. The surge has been small.
Boats of much size at all lying on sand would be more than a couple of feet. I’m going to chalk it up to rumor reported as fact or exaggerated reporting, given other information that sounds minimal.
