The latest rumor making the rounds is that Barack Obama replaced General Carter Ham at Africom after the general made a move to help the US security officials at the Benghazi consulate and annex. Ham was replaced by Gen. David Rodriquez on October 18. Tiger Droppings reported:
The information I heard today was that General [Carter] Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.
General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.
The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Hams place as the head of Africom.
Sure enough Obama nominated Gen. David Rodriguez to replace Gen. Carter Ham as commander of U.S. Africa Command.

Deflection?
I’d sure like to know more about this. If true it would blow this thing wide open.
Ham would be in front of the Senate in days. Obama would be relegated to the ash can of history.
The Senate? You must be joking! You do realize that the Senate is run by Democrats, right? Not exactly a patriotic bunch!

I guess he doesn’t need to finish his “investigation” to protect his ass.
I know that officers can refuse to follow illegal orders, but this guy was trying to help, it sounds like.
Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer: My sources tell me Obama was in the room watching Benghazi attack.

Apparently, they also disobeyed orders and ordered support against the big 0’s orders to stand down.
Is House Committee hearing investigating attack in Benghazi still ongoing? They call Gen Carter Ham and Rear Adm Charles Gaouette.
"General Ham, did you give the order to help the people at the Embassy? Despite being told to stand down."
Ham: "You're goddam right I gave the order!"
Yes, good point. I was wrong. It would have to be the House.
If he was replaced in moments, it would seem to me it was either the president or a top military official with the clout to order it.
DoughtyOne~ : “ Ham would be in front of the Senate in days. Obama would be relegated to the ash can of history.”
OBummer would like to smoke ham , with eggs and hash browns on the side; except moochelle won’t let him eat non-Halal foods. After all , it isn’t kosher !
One thing a Perp-In-Chief can’t stand is one of his best units going ‘broken arrow’ , and non-responsive to the chain of command. It looks bad ; and it gives the impression that the leader really isn’t leading !.
Hopefully, there is little more than 10 days to this administration , as the foxes are guarding the hen house and are within the walls !
Seems like it doesn’t it.
I will stand with General Ham should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.
And so Obama moves to surround himself with yes-men Generals and Admirals.
We’re heading for “Seven Days in May.”
” - - - Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.”
This is the SMOKING GUN for Benghazi!
Whoever ordered this order is guilty of Murder.
The only responsible act would have been to act and attempt freeing of the hostages.
Zero has already indicated what kind of a leader he is - leading from behind !
Ham was ready to go - in true military fashion
Zero was waiting ‘to aim before he shot (the wad)’ some 11 days later. He was still telling the same ole pipe dream about “ the film “ to see if it could fly; it didn’t !!
Then he held up the FBI investigators for 27 days (looking for one freaking passport, for God’s sake !)and permission to into Libyia ( what was he smokin ??)
Needless to say , the trail was cold and the debris had already been sifted through (by CNN and others)
The only one who held up to their oath of office was Ham , and his men who were ready to go into action , broken arrow or not !
That’s why he was replaced -> integrity ! He kept his oath of office and responsibility .
Not so Zero —> he slept !
That’s why Ham is being replaced !!
It’s called being thrown under the bus.
STAND DOWN!
Only 1 reason for a stand down order of this magnitude...the attack was planned by the WH for political purposes. If the military would have intervened, that intervention would have disrupted their plans & subsequent goals. Funny how General Hams’ second in command was ready withing 30 seconds to a minute of relieving his commanding officer....mighty strange!
