Yep, we just experienced it firsthand.
My family and I were watching an old movie, all the furniture started moving. Called son who lives down the road, he felt it while outside.
Approximately 150-160 mile from where we live here in Ketchikan.
First earthquake we have felt in a long time.
Tsunami warning.

WOW! Almost down to San Diego CA...
Curious where you can find accurate info regarding your susceptibility to flooding. Is there a good site that shows this type of information? I recall looking after the Japan tsunami and not being able to find good info.
yeah. I’m not quite getting : Fort Point, New Hampshire being on the list
Glad you and yours made it through safely.
Already warning friends in harbor and along waterfront. Our home is about 100’ above sea level.
I would imagine the islands between us and the outside of the Queen Charlotte’s would “dampen” effect of large tsunami...
We shall see....
It will be in Cresent City California at 10:53 pm. They got hit bad from one out of Alaska before.
How likely: observed
How soon: immediate
How severe: extreme
get the life boats.....
There’s a Fort Point in Francisco——none in N.H.
Did the bouys that are blinking yellow actually pickup the earthquake? Looking at the charts there is a “bobble” about the time of the earthquake.
San Francisco,that is.
Thank you, we are close enough (here in Ketchikan) that I would imagine we would have seen any disastrous effect of wave by now.
Yes, they did
That would make more sense

Thanks! Bad location for that size and depth. I’m concerned for those living there in the bay area.
That is huge. Luckily in the middle of nowhere.
Not exactly...there are folks who live there and cruise ships in Ketchikan and other ports.
