There’d be more black hands if the GOP were a little more aggressive. I have worked in GOP offices, and we make no effort to support or even contact sympathetic black people who are sick of being on the Dem plantation. I worked in a GOP office during the Bush elections where people actually called us from the black neighborhoods and asked us to come and at least do some door hangers so it looked like we cared. But the local GOP couldn’t be bothered.
So if there’s not enough black hands, it’s not because all blacks love Obama, but because we haven’t really preached our message to them and we also give them no support when they ask for it from their hostile environment.
One of the men I spoke to when I was working the desk at GOP headquarters asked me to make sure we didn’t let on who had made the call, and in fact, he was calling from another room so his mother, who lived with his family, couldn’t hear him.
That’s ok, because we never bothered to go out to that neighborhood anyway.
We’ve got to do better.
Demoralize your opponent, let him know one of the largest prizes is gone again, make him expend resources.
Then again, a subtle play for the Florida Jewish Vote with the hopes they spread the word to their relaties in other States.
Never let your guard down. Romney is up double digits with indys but still have to campaign hard because the barry dirtbags cheat.
