Missouri's Senate race a statistical dead heat: poll
Reuters ^

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Reuters) - Democratic Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill holds a slim lead of 2 percentage points over Republican challenger Todd Akin - essentially a deadlock - in a race being closely watched following Akin's controversial comments on "legitimate rape," a poll released on Saturday showed.

McCaskill had been seen as one of the most vulnerable incumbent Democrats but has led Akin in most polls since he said in August that women could biologically defend themselves against pregnancy caused by "legitimate rape."

Akin said later he misspoke when he made the remark, which led to widespread rebukes even from within his own party, but the six-term member of the U.S. House resisted calls to step aside.

McCaskill led Akin by 45 percent to 43 percent, within the 4-point margin of error for the survey of 625 registered voters conducted from Tuesday through Thursday by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research.

The poll showed 8 percent undecided and 4 percent backing Libertarian candidate Jonathan Dine.

Yes, we are seeing what I already knew would be happening as we got closer to the election. It doesn't take massive funding to win an election, especially when your opponent is the most evil, corrupt, arrogant, obama clone that thought she could count on Missourians forgetting how she stuck it to us by being the 60th vote to pass Obamacare in 2010. That and all the other evil things she did to us including the latest scandal concerning her husband and her cover up of it. More and more are finally becoming aware of the McCaskillgate. That and the realization that Mitt needs a Senate majority to get this country moving in the right direction. As for Todd, I predict we will see a parallel to the historical event that propelled Reagan during the week after his last Presidential debate one week before the 1980 elections.

We are in a war against evil right now and we are in it to win. Keep the faith my FRiends.

Reuters? The jew-hating, anti-semitic neo-Nazis who create ridiculous, manufactured photos of Israelis killing children are telling us that the baby murderer McCaskill is winning the hearts and minds of Christians in Missouri?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

The Missouri Republican Party is for Akin.......

Countdown to Victory
October 26, 2012: 11 days until the election
National debt: $16.206 trillion
• Newt Gingrich to campaign with Todd Akin
• More revelations of McCaskill’s corruption

Newt Gingrich to campaign with Todd Akin: On Wednesday, October 31, Newt Gingrich will hold a “Show Me Courage Rally” with Todd Akin in Kansas City. The rally, which is open to the public, will take place at 8:15 AM at Union Station (under the clock), 30 W Pershing Rd #400. For more information, visit www.akin.org/events.

More revelations of McCaskill’s corruption: Over the past several weeks, Claire McCaskill has been hit with revelations that her low-income housing empire received $1 million in stimulus dollars and nearly $40 million in taxpayer subsidies since she took office. A whistle-blower has also come forward and alleged that McCaskill’s husband was cutting business deals in the Senate Dining Room. This week, the National Legal and Policy Center uncovered another $20 million in stimulus funds that have benefited McCaskill’s network of companies. At issue are two new stimulus-created programs, TCAP and TCR, which created new investment opportunities for McCaskill’s husband. Read more.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Faith, Family, Freedom Fund, a super PAC associated with Family Research Council Action, is bringing a statewide, six-day bus tour through Missouri with one, simple message:
Senator Claire McCaskill’s policies are harmful to Missouri families.

The tour will make 25 stops in 23 cities during the six-day tour. The bus will make a stop at the
St. Louis Tea Party Headquarters located at
9966 Lin Ferry Rd. St. Louis MO 63123
on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 7:00pm. The rally will feature several national and local speakers.

“Senator McCaskill was the 51st vote for the government takeover of health care. She supported taxpayer funding of abortion, and opposed the Missouri constitutional amendment defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman,” the Fund’s Chairwoman Connie Mackey states.

“She is way out of step with the people of Missouri, and it’s time to repeal and replace Senator McCaskill with a senator who will stand for faith, family and freedom,” Mackey concluded.

The public is encouraged to join the bus along the way to gather voter guides and other materials while hearing from leaders at the forefront of the conservative movement.

The Faith, Family, Freedom Fund is joined in this effort by other prominent leaders and groups such as Eagle Forum PAC, Phyllis Schlafly, Mike Huckabee, Pastor Stephen Broden, former Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, Susan B. Anthony List and many more.

St. Louis Rally Speakers:
Connie Mackey, Fund Chairwoman, Faith Family Freedom Fund
Colleen Holcomb, Executive Director, Eagle Forum PAC
Kristan Hawkins, President, Students for Life of America
Joe Ortwerth, Missouri Family Policy Council
Diane Edmondson, Republican National Coalition for Life

The worst part of this election is that it shouldn’t be close. I’m not pointing fingers at anyone here, though. Very disturbing that this was not wrapped up in favor of the GOP and America long ago.

Prayers for an Akin win.

It should have been wrapped up and may have been if the NRSC hadn't chosen not only to withhold money but to denounce him nationwide. They know his conservative voting record vs McCaskills..Rove’s joke on murdering Akin didn't help either.
WE do have the good guys on our side and if Akin wins..it will be one of the sweetest victories in the election.
