Vague? A lot of shuffling and firing going on in the military brass lately it seems like. Something wrong is going on in the upper ranks, and it can’t be good.

Rear Adm. Charles Gaouette has been accused of “inappropriate leadership judgment,” according to a Navy official familiar with the case.
Any of you Navy or ex military guys care to speculate on what inappropriate leadership judgment could mean?

There are strong rumors going around that Obama got more than a little push back from his "stand down" order. Cf.
Rumor re Gen. Ham. This is probably not directly involved but Obama and Dempsey do seem to be executing a Night of the Long Knives so as to secure more trustworthy support for the regime.

I actually Served with Rear Admiral Gaouette when he was a Lieutenant heading the Weapons Department aboard the USS Fletcher (DD-992). One of the best Department Heads I had the pleasure to know.
To have him removed from the Carrier Strike Group mid-deployment is odd to say the least.
